Shared Fates Novels & Stories

It was just one page. "I had this ready after Geneva," Joe said, handing it to Davidson. "It's not binding. No court would take it. It's an agreement. Just between us.". Davidson took it. The title was short: Codicil of Shared Fate. He read on, and his breathing ceased. It was not an oath of love. It was a cruel, beautiful vow of shared destruction.

“We have to stay, even if we feel like we’re going to die. The bond is strong…our bond is stronger than the hate we’ll have for each other. We can overcome everything.” “What if we…” I started running down scenarios, trying to find alternatives, trying to find ways that didn’t end up with Sebastian dead, and with Troy and me hating each other so much that we’d destroy each other in the process. “No,” Troy said. “Stop. There is no way. The Fates showed me every possible path. They all lead to the same end.”

Living together with a mate is an attempt to unite the contents of two different heads. Rejection, selfishness, anger, despair, love, and mutual love are united in a bond called Fate. The End.

6th Month of their Relationship (Natalie's Birthday) 07:30 AM Natalie wakes up excitedly as it was her day. She stood up and checks her phone for the birthday greetings and wishes by her Family and friends but her smile faded when there is no any messages greeting from them. Despite of this she then went on with her routine and starts her day by taking a shower. She then went outside as she had a meeting with the publishers for her book as the popularity boosted just in months of publishing it. She went in and gets greeted by her co-writers and publishers as she headed inside and into the conference room. They started the meeting afterwards and discussed the popularity of the said the book

I didn’t want to ruin the mood, but I knew he was withholding information from me. “Once we mark each other, there is no possibility for a second-chance mate.” As if reading the confusion on my face he continued. “If your mate dies before you mark them, the Moon Goddess grants you a second-chance mate. But if you mark your mate, then you are committed to them and only them.” He brushes a hair out of my face, but I push him back, sitting up. “Do you think that's a good idea though? Maybe we should see if I even make it through the full moon.”

I furrow my brows, “fated mate? Explain what that is?” She smiles, “werewolves have fated mates, the Moon Goddess tethers their souls together making it one and the love and joy that the fated mates share is unworldly, it’s said that there is no greater love than that of the truly fated mates.” I stop her, “so he was my boyfriend?”

"It'll get stronger. The more we trust it, the more it binds us. Blood to blood. Heart to heart. Some say true mates can even share life force—heal each other, extend years together. But it starts here, with choice. Fate brings us together, but we decide to stay." Nico's thumb brushed over her knuckles. "I don't want to fight it. I don't think I could even if I tried. From the stables to this table... every second with you feels right. Like I've been waiting lifetimes for this." Elara's eyes shimmered, not with tears, but with something brighter—joy, certainty. "Then we're in this together. Bloodmates. Fated. Forever, if we want it."

Fate Mates were an extremely rare phenomena. Typically, two werewolves fell in love and then decided to declare themselves mates, either through marriage or another means. But the love bond of a Fate Mate gives the werewolves no choice in the matter. I’d heard it described in stories and fairytales. When you find your fate mate, and you look at the person for the first time, the entire world stops. The one thing that keeps you alive is that person. And separation from that person would mean losing a part of yourself.

"Helen told me that fated mates are linked... even in death. Is it true? If something happens to one of us after the Ancient Blood Marriage, does the other die too?" The Queen Mother didn't try to sugarcoat it. "Yes. It is the law of the bond. To share a soul so completely means that when one spark goes out, the other cannot sustain itself. Fated partners live together, and they depart this world together. It is a beautiful tragedy." I went quiet, calculating in my head. Alistair was strong and healthy, he probably had hundreds of years left. If I could stay by his side for a long, happy life, then the end didn't seem so scary.

The alpha's grinned widened, "precisely." "That's impossible. Fate gives you one person you're mated to. Or destined to be with. This can't happen. " The alpha shrugged again, a gold coin spinning easily between his knuckles. "Fate fucked up."
