Shared Fates Novelas e Histórias

“But yes. They are like sports drinks. And tea.” Abertha relaxing helps me let go a little. Breathe a little deeper. I take a sip from my cup. It’s sweetened with honey. Just how I like it. “First off, it’s not Fate, it’s Fates. Plural. And they aren’t necessarily working together. You’ve got the sports drink Fate who is all about the results. Hydration by whatever means necessary. Pups, pups, pups. That’s all she cares about. But then there’s the tea Fates.”

Cupid asked, "They are a very important branch of Hades Inc." June nodded, "Yeah, I read about them on the pamphlet, you guys have me." The Fates were a group of three sisters who were weaving goddesses. One sister weaved the thread of life, another sister measured the amount of time the human lived and the last sister cut the thread off with her shears. "The Fates sometimes uses the same thread for different people's lives henceforth reincarnation became a thing," Cupid said, "So, all the June Wengs whose lives you changed are all you somehow."

The bonds of shared hardship were slowly forging a new kind of unity, a unity forged not only in mutual need but also in mutual understanding. The constant threat from the Crimson Fang served as a unifying force, a shared enemy that kept their focus on the greater objective. News of Crimson Fang raids on other packs arrived frequently, grim reminders of the stakes involved. These reports solidified the alliance, reinforcing the necessity of their cooperation. Lyra knew that the true test of their unity would come when they faced the Crimson Fang in open battle.

Her older brothers also shift uncomfortably. “I am…I mean, I was. I don’t know how to explain it. Once we completed our bond, all that fear faded away. The only way I can describe the bond is that it’s…indescribable.” Everyone sitting around me is dumbfounded. Nobody says anything. I’m not the type of she-wolf who gets sentimental. “I think it’s brave of you and Alpha,” Richard says, causing all of us to turn to him. “Many people rejected or abandoned their fated mates because of the plague. You and Alpha accepting the bond will give hope that the plague is over and fated mates will return.”

"Fiona Katherine Winchester breaks up with Sebastian Prime over spilt wine. Most coveted Female Billionaire is once again single." Curse Sebastian and my Mother, my upcoming weeks were going to be a living hell, I was sure of it.

“He thinks he's my fated mate or something.” Nancy choked on her coffee, spluttering slightly. “Seriously?” I rolled my eyes. “I know, right? I’ve been waiting years for my fated mate, and when the mysterious son of Kiran Cadelyn comes into play and helps me one time, he assumes he’s my mate.” Her eyes squinted, “Well…I kind of had a feeling about that, too, Sets.” My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Did we do something I can’t remember?

She sighed, a small moment of reverence given to the good old days. “But every so often, I’ve heard gossip of a Fated pair,” she went on. “Sharing thoughts, powers, a deeper connection and understanding of one another than any love could bring between two people.” I felt myself blushing at the idea. “Most will keep it quiet though, fearing retaliation.” “Retaliation?”

Urian didn't want to believe what he was seeing but he was sure he wasn't wrong. The string in her eyes, the pull, the smell… it was all her. He has finally found her, his fated mate, someone who is not supposed to exist was right here in his arms but she looked so… tired. ***

she said, and turned to walk away. “You were right, you know,” he called after her. She paused and looked back. “I don’t believe in fate,” he said. “But I think I was meant to meet you today.” Aurora smiled, her heart tugging in a way she couldn’t explain. “Then I hope you remember it.”

You’d think more people would be hesitant to find their fated mates, considering what happened to the previous generation, but I guess the possibility of eternal love and happiness clouds peoples’ rationality. The last two months, Vinny’s pack, The Forza Nelle Tenebre, aka Forza Pack, and Dare’s pack, The Running River Pack, have taken turns hosting full moon runs. A bunch of my pack members have traveled to these events and about fifty of them found their fated mates within the other packs. Small fuckin’ world, right?
