Blair The first thought that crossed my mind as I blinked my eyes open was that the lights overhead were really bright. Painfully so. The next thought was a feeling of discomfort in my nose and throat. Blindly, I reached up to feel around my face, my fingers curling over what felt like flimsy plastic tubes resting under my chin. I followed the tubing until it led up to two prongs up my nose.

I pushed myself up on my arms, then stopped as I felt a burning sensation on my nose. Two drops of blood hit the soil in front of me. Nosebleed? I raised my hand to block the flow, and that was when the wave of pain hit. It was like being crushed under a huge boulder, and every little twitch and move of my muscles made it ten times worse. I dug my nails into the dirt, my eyes clenched and my head pressed to the grass as I tried and failed to get air into my lungs. Someone started to scream in my ear, and their voice was so raw, it tore through my chest like sharp jabs of a blade.

Riven’s POV They stung like hell. My eyes were currently burning from the harsh blast of antiseptic spray, but that pain didn't compare to the agony in my eardrums. My fucking ears kept ringing, and I had Eve to thank for that. She was screaming at the top of her lungs, and the sound was entirely deafening.

He laughed scornfully and I began to feel pain in my ears. "Gosh! It hurts." I groaned. His laughters didn't stop. Rather it increased and I fell on my knees. I reached out to my ears and I felt the warm red substance. My ears were bleeding. "Stop, please!" I pleaded. "You can't stop me!" He laughed evily. "Stop, please!" I yelled. "Steve!" I forced my eyes open and sat up in shock. My whole body was covered in sweat. My hands shivered. I touched my ears with my fingers. I brought my hands forward in front of my eyes. There was no blood! I sighed shakily in relief.

Andy’s POV I woke up with a violent sneeze. And another. And another. My nose was clogged. My head hurt like someone was inside banging pots and pans. Everything was so freaking bright it hurt my eyeballs just to see. “Urghhhhh,” “You’re up.” A cool, deep voice spoke beside me.

"This ear hole of mine has not been able to grow for five or six years. Do you think there is a way to make it grow faster?" The nurse carefully checked her ear hole again and felt a little awkward. "There is no good way. There are some millet particles blocking your ear hole. How about this? I will arrange a number for you. Ask the doctor to pick them out for you. Then I'll add some healing medicine, and it should work faster. However, there shouldn't be any anesthesia in the process of picking them out. It might be very painful." Jessie agreed without hesitation, "It's alright. Pick them."

People were stuck with their anger rising and patience getting thinner. The noise made Yric block his ears with his hands. As the honking got louder his head hurt more. Pain drilled inside his skull. It happened because he had sensitive hearing. His ear would react to that kind of sound. He wanted to stop everyone from honking their cars but he couldn't move.

"You should get your nose checked by a doctor this morning, just in case." "I'm good. Thanks," he says flatly. I get up from the bed and follow his tentative steps as he approaches the dining table. My feet itch for the door, his phone keeping him preoccupied, but I'd rather sleep on this floor than run into his father out there. "Can you breathe properly?" "I'll live." I almost roll my eyes. "Use an ice pack five to eight times a day. 15 minutes at least. Take painkillers if the swelling worsens. Elevate your head before you sleep."

My eardrum threatened to burst from the explosions and shouts that were going on around me. I could hear someone's heartbeat from across the room. I could hear mice in the walls. My nose was going crazy too. I could smell everything all at once. The smell of medicine. A metallic scent continues to irritate my nose, but all this was not comparable to the amount of pain that was running through my body. My whole body hurts. My head felt like someone had hit it with a hammer. Where was I? I tried to open my eyes, but the light was too bright. I slammed my eyelids shut immediately, a groan escaped my mouth.

‘You can do this. I sat on the infirmary bed, my fingers trembling as I tried to disinfect the wound on my ear. The sting was sharp, like tiny needles pressing into my skin, and no matter how careful I was, the earring stuck to the wound, refusing to budge, the skin swollen and irritated around the metal. I bit my lip, gripping the tweezers tightly. This seemed simple, I Just had to pull it out. Quick and simple. But the moment I tried, a sharp, searing pain shot through my ear, making me hiss.
