The rift had grown impossibly wide, a jagged tear in the Void where multiple realities collided and overlapped. The fragments of shattered worlds spun chaotically, colliding and folding as though the universe itself were convulsing in pain. "I don't even understand this realm that you speak of, and you are already taking me with stopping that man from taking what's naturally his? That's too big of a task. Marcellus hates me, and he is ashamed of me, I don't think I can fight for him not knowing if he was going to willingly going to feed me to the wolves." She smiled. "There are four realms; The moon realm, The blood realm, the gray realm and the forgotten realm. Millennials ago, we used to all live together, but we were at a bridge of war when a blood treaty caused us to separate. The barriers separating the realm was bound by a witch. The moon realm is for the werewolves, the blood realm; the vampires; the gray realm; witches.

I close my eyes, fighting an inner battle with myself before finally releasing a breath through my mouth and standing up straight. I looked at the man on the floor and was about to walk away when hushed voices reached my ears. I froze as I slowly turned, listening to what they were saying. ….“If he doesn't crown her as his Queen it would automatically disqualify him as being crowned King of the four realms.” An oddly familiar voice said and my brows furrowed. The four realms? That was the realm of werewolves, witches, faes and I think shapeshifters. I don't know if I was right but I think that was the four realms we had. And from what I know they're actually not at peace.

Hopefully you'll enjoy the next generation of Guardians as much as you enjoyed the first trilogy. Also, if you haven't tried it, I have a book out called The Arena. It's the first in the Elemental Dragons series. It's very different from this world of the Guardians. That book is filled with shifters and, you guessed it, dragons. That series is intended to have four books, one for each dragon.
