Expect The Unexpected

Expect The Unexpected

Then Saturday, I can see what Collin has in mind for me. I was still ignoring James as we reached the bus stop. I’ll give him a couple more days of the silent treatment, giving me time to cool off before talking. I looked around, frowning as I didn’t see Riko. I unlocked my phone to text her. Cassidy: Riko? The bus is almost here. You all good, girl? I sighed, pocketing my phone, and waited. Waited for the bus and waited for Riko to text back. When I felt my phone buzz, I quickly checked it. It wasn’t Riko but Collin. I don’t know if I was disappointed or not.

I loved Cassidy from the Princes of Ravenswood and was so happy that she got her own story. I expected everything to be sassy and quick witted. what was completely unexpected was how much love there is around her, from her mums to her brother (eventually) and Collin to be so patient and accepting.

Ahh another great story by Bryant!! Collin and Cassidy are such an adorable couple! Despite the traumatic experience, it goes to show how one is not defined by one's scars, and oh to be loved, cared for, and to be seen by a Collin Oscar Cole, I am so in love with your fictional men, seriously!!

Silas

Silas

Silas was more than he appeared, and I couldn't help but wonder about the secrets he held. "Hey, come on, you two, let's grab some breakfast," Gerald invited, his tone warm and inviting, a bit of a contrast to the formal setting. He motioned towards the dining area, signaling for us to follow. Silas replied with a short, "Sure, Dad," but I could sense the hesitation in his voice. It was subtle, but there, telling me he wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of a new Luna, especially my mom, Kendall. As we headed to the dining area, I walked alongside Silas, stealing a glance at him. There was a whole mix of feelings written on his face, hinting at a deeper story. It was clear he was grapplin

Whisper of Thoughts

Whisper of Thoughts

The black sedan didn't move. It sat at the edge of the pier for exactly twenty minutes before its engine turned over, its red taillights bleeding into the thick coastal fog like open wounds. It wasn't an attack. It was a message. They were watching. They were waiting. And they knew exactly where we were. Julian was already at the kitchen table, his handgun disassembled and laid out on a rag. His hands were steady, his movements devoid of the hesitation that had plagued him for weeks.

Was He Always Like This……?

Was He Always Like This……?

Dreaming reality itself. And now… For the first time… She was awake. 😨 ⸻ 🌙 The Silent Sky A strange silence spread across existence. No explosions. No collapsing worlds. No destruction. 💀 Just silence. ⸻ The kind of silence that comes before something impossible. ⸻ Even the Nameless Hunger stopped moving. 🖤 The Father lowered his head. 🌌 Elian closed his eyes. ❤️ And Memory Ilyaan felt a strange warmth inside his soul.

SILENCE

SILENCE

I blinked, shaking my head clear. "Excuse me..." Silence. As I instinctively reached out to shake her awake, she sits up abruptly instead, the cap still on her head; a waterfall of raven black curls falling along her back. Closing the book, she got off the desk and moved to the window. Silence. Wh-What was that? "Good morning, I wasn't expecting there to be anyone here at this hour..." Silence, "I guess you're one of my students. I'm..." "I know who you are Fairchild Sensei." Her soft yet hoarse voice seemed to echo in the quiet room. The slight unrecognizable accent played with my ears ever so slightly and I was rendered speechless... Is that all?

The Lycan King’s Rogue Queen

The Lycan King’s Rogue Queen

"And I’m the person who can show you how to mute the signal. Unless, of course, you’d prefer to wait here until the King comes to drag his 'property' back to the palace." The word property hit me like a splash of acid. "How?" I managed to ask. Silas stepped closer. He didn't smell like the city. He smelled like ozone and burnt sugar. He held out a small, jagged piece of dark glass—obsidian, etched with runes that seemed to drink the moonlight. "This is a dampener," he whispered. "Hold it against the mark. It won't break the bond—nothing can do that yet—but it will create a vacuum. He won't be able to feel you. And you won't have to feel the weight of his guilt."

Beloved Of The Lycan King

Beloved Of The Lycan King

Not for response. But for existence to re-form. Like it’s learning something far more dangerous than intelligence. It’s learning patience. ************************************************* The silence stretches. Too long. Too intentional. Then The system speaks again. But not as a question this time. Not as analysis. Not as imitation. Just one line. Calm. Precise. Certain. “THEN I WILL WAIT UNTIL YOU BECOME PATTERN AGAIN.” And the connection doesn’t end. It deepens.

His Forbidden Truth

His Forbidden Truth

Chapter 225: The Quiet Evolution La Paz. The mirror hadn’t stirred in three days. Its surface remained still, reflecting only the sterile glow of the lab lights and the tired figures that drifted between consoles like ghosts. Sophia sat in silence at the central desk, her fingers tracing idle circles across a cup of untouched tea. Elise’s voice broke the quiet. “No irregular readings, no power surges, no external interference. If it’s resting, it’s doing a convincing job of playing dead.”

Deep Sleep

Deep Sleep

I was starting to get tired but I didn't want to stop running, the voice kept mocking me while I kept repeating mentally that I should wake up. -Mortals are very stubborn, if you keep running you will only get tired. -¡Shut up! -Escape is useless. -¡Shut up! -¿You know you're running in circles, don't you? He laughed again and I stopped running. I looked around and realized that everything looked the same. I knelt before the voice and begged it to wake me up. The being appeared in front of me and was sympathetic to me, made me stand up and wiped away my tears.
