SILENT THOUGHTS

SILENT THOUGHTS

You might need help on some other things, but you can activate my sleep mode if you so wish "Ash explained. " What happens in sleep mode?" I asked suddenly curious. "I'm cut off all of your actions and lay idle until you need me" Ash replied. "And what happens if I turn you off completely...?" I inquired. "I'm completely cut off of all your actions and recent activities and recent records, turning me off completely might affect my efficiency of knowing you more" Ash replied. "How funny" I said turning it off completely then turned on my earphones. "Dad!" I called and he picked.

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

A distant rumble shook the heavens. The crack above the city widened slightly. Everyone looked up. The darkness beyond reality was moving. Watching. Waiting. The First Silence. Nova felt it immediately. Not fear. Not anger. Curiosity. The First Silence was observing. Learning. Like it always had. The Third Silence noticed too. His expression hardened. "He's here." The First Memory nodded. "Yes." The city grew brighter. Silver light flooded the horizon. Then the world became quiet. Perfectly quiet. Every sound vanished.

THE SOVEREIGN SHIELD

THE SOVEREIGN SHIELD

I asked softly, turning slightly in his grip. Silas was silent for a long moment, watching a freighter crawl across the distant horizon like a slow-moving beetle. "For the first time in thirty years, I don't feel like I’m waiting for a grade. I don't feel like I’m an investment that has to yield a ten-percent return just to be worthy of existing. So yes, Elena. I’m more than okay."

The Alpha’s Moonbreather

The Alpha’s Moonbreather

Her voice trailed off. She rubbed her forearms. “It’s echoes. Things you feel before you see them.” Elise met her gaze steadily. “Then we’ll hold our breath till the echoes pass. Together.” Saelin nodded, lips pressed thin. She placed her hand on the rough stone of the archway. Elise did the same across from her, cold on callused sandalwood. They counted in their minds, shoulders squared, hearts beating the same rhythm—once, twice, their own private code.

Silent Flame

The studio lights had cooled, but the echo of the interview still lingered in Evelyn’s bones. Investors had responded with cautious approval. Funds that had hesitated now shifted toward stability again. For a few days, the company felt steadier. Yet Evelyn knew that Claudia would not remain still. Silence was not surrender. It was the pause before another strike.

Falling For The Mafia Boss

Falling For The Mafia Boss

“Just a different game.” She tossed something to him,it was a photo…. Of Elias. “His name is Elias. He’s not your enemy. He’s not your legacy. He’s just a boy.” Silas looked at it. Looked up. For a moment, his hand trembled. Then the lights went out. EMP. Matteo’s trick. Bought us ten seconds. We moved through smoke, gunfire and our screams. When it all cleared, Silas was gone. So was the USB.

Whispers of the Dark

Whispers of the Dark

I glanced upon her and saw how her head was facing upwards in the sky. “Heaven, they say…” she whispered but I heard. Heaven. That place was almost mythical for creatures like me, as to how I will never understand. “You’re gonna die?” I asked her like its nothing. She nodded her head slowly, still facing the sky. “Are you wondering why I’m so calm about it?” she asked. I stopped for a second. Now that I think about it, I was wondering. Mortals usually clutch all the remaining time in their lives until they lose it. She was different. She accepts it. She’s just waiting.

The Wait

The Wait

She nodded at Schuyler, who nodded back. There was an awkward silence among all of them, even little Olliver was not making a sound, his sharp eyes trying to gauge the situation. Schuyler’s smile faltered but when Vienna nodded sympathetically towards him, he nodded back. Realizing that it was up to her to break the silence, Vienna called out to Olliver. The little boy was looking between his mother and Schuyler, confused.

YOU WAITED

What I love about it, is the live entertainment. Being left alone again gives me reason to look around and wander about, not look at him. I hear him sigh." Kea." "Mhm?" I look at him. "You've been silent the whole trip here, what's wrong?" " Nothing, I'm just a little tired." I lie, avoiding eye contact. "You've been asleep the whole day." I frown, looking up." How do you know that?" "It's our house, I think I'd know what happens in there? "

Be prepared for different levels of emotion. Interesting storyline that will have you crying at times. There’s also some humor. However, the book has grammatical errors that needs to be edited. Love the ending - very different, but good.

I really loved this story. so many twists, it was confusing especially when Keith asked for a divorce he didn't really want because he loved her so much and rescued her. It had a very happy ending. So worth reading.
