All I had to do was light it and get started, which I did. "Venez sanguis. Venez sanguis, Venus sangria la force de la beta â moi" I chanted, closing my eyes tightly. Even when I did not know what the spell was about, I could not control my tongue. I gathered some blood from God knows and directed in my direction. "Sanguis Sanguis" I chanted repeatedly, making the blood splash on the mirror. The mirror brightened up a bit with blurry figures. I chanted harder as the figures became clearer.

I guess it’s not that easy to perform such a powerful spell. I was about to turn the page and look at something else when small words at the bottom caught my eye. It was written in a different language but strangely, I could understand. THIS SPELL CAN ONLY BE PERFORMED AT ONE’S POINT OF DESPERATION. TO PERFORM THIS SPELL, SPILL BLOOD FROM YOUR HEART ON THE GROUND AND CHANT THE ABOVE WORDS THREE TIMES WHILE LOOKING AT THE MOON.

With it I discovered a spell to summon the king of the crossroads. With the blood of a crow, I drew a wide circle on the ground, marking a boundary. I poured salt into a bowl, staining it with my blood. Next I added into the bowl the crushed skull of crows. All this was required for my summoning spell to work. I began chanting. "Impericus livicúm omnis ímmúndus no spiritus infernaus satanica fer reh nahi…" I chanted in old greek tongue, lighting up a single match stick and dumping it into the bowl.

Her hands swept downward, gathering threads of energy that shimmered like strands of sunlight, weaving them into the spell. "A lock to your desires, ignorant to all but her," Venus continued, her voice growing more intense. "The fire within you shall be tempered, and your soul tethered to hers. The moment your bond with her activates, let this spell commence!" As she spoke, the sigil on the floor erupted in a golden blaze, swirling and expanding as if consuming the air itself. Selene stepped closer, her calm demeanor unshaken despite the immense power building in the room. She raised her hand above the glowing sigil and allowed two drops of her silver-blue blood to fall into the center.

The air crackled with unseen energy, making the hairs on her arms stand on end. "Lilith?" Caspian's voice sounded distant, tinged with concern. She didn't dare open her eyes or break her focus. The spell teetered on a knife's edge, raw power pulsing through her veins. One misstep, and it could all come crashing down... With a final, resonant word, she felt the spell coalesce.
