Their eyes drooped with sleep but the bedtime story reading was a ritual we all looked forward to. I sat beside them, reading Ria's favourite story about a frog that travelled to the North Pole this time. Halfway through the story, the kids fell asleep. Smiling gently, I bent over and kissed them, whispering a Buddhist chant for peace. Waves of exhaustion flooded me. The day had been stressful. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

My mood changed drastically and Sebastian noticed this. There was a far, far away land, and a King ruled a nation known as Anthill, filled with so many people who called themselves Anthillians.”

If only my head didn’t feel so heavy and the bed weren’t so comfortable, I could make him tea or find a guided YouTube meditation or something.

"James, please, I fell asleep at three o'clock in the morning, so could you please shut up and let me sleep?" she asked, hugging the pillow beside her. "And it's not my fault you didn't go to bed early; we already talked about it, so don't give me that reason. Will you stand there, or will I drag you to the bathroom?" James threatened. She moaned once more. Damn, this jerk! Despite her love for him, there are times when she just wants to torture him. Does he not notice how sleepy I am?

Larissa earnestly said. Ambrose couldn't take it anymore and wrapped the sweetheart in the blanket. Larissa wriggled like a caterpillar, arching her way out from under the covers. "Mister, can I sleep at 12:30 AM? It's too early now, and I'm not sleepy at all! It's boring lying in bed, so let me give you a massage! I'll massage you for ten minutes and then do acupuncture for another ten minutes. It's just twenty minutes in total, and it won't be past 12:30 AM. Is it okay?"
