Cathy laughs and kisses Luke’s cheeks. The dance is at a hotel ballroom and the music is blasting. Pictures, dancing, dancing, and laughing.

Third-Person POV The prom venue was breathtaking—a grand ballroom on the top floor of a luxury hotel downtown, with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing a glittering view of the Chicago skyline. The students danced under a cascade of twinkling chandeliers, the music pulsing through the room as laughter and excitement filled the air. Sade and Marco swayed together on the dance floor, lost in their own world. Star, as always, was working the room, snapping selfies and stealing the spotlight in her silver dress. She waved over Sade with a mischievous grin.

Isabella vaguely recognizes it—maybe from a drama she watched a long time ago.

To a night we won’t forget. We finally get to the prom and when we walk inside all the lights are off, everything is being lit up from the twinkling lights that are placed strategically all over the room. It looks... Magical...
