Snow bowed her head in respect, her gaze lowering to the floor, staring at the Alpha’s neatly polished shoes.
“Snow, is it?”
“Yes, it is, Alpha,” she replied softly.
He still remembered it all. The baby’s cries echoing in the pack territory. Her cries were loud, and her eyes shimmered with purity and innocence, boring into his soul. His men had found her lying on the cold ground, wrapped neatly in warm clothing.
