In a world where Omegas are generally looked down upon; A rare male Omega becomes the cause of a lot of dispute in the werewolf kind. Will he be able to bring about a change or will he become the subject of rejection? "Alpha, this incident is something I have never heard of before." The man gulped. "What do you mean?" The Alpha asked, bewildered. "The boy who defeated all our wolves, was an Omega." He confessed.
View MoreBeautiful giggles rippled through the dead calm of the clear, moonlit night.
The echoing laughter mingling with the sound of the gushing waterfall.
The stars twinkled in fondness, at the pure joy radiating off, of two young souls.
“Elio, wait!” A childish voice whined.
“Too slow, Addy!” An equally adorable voice, shrieked in happiness.
The scented flowers, were being lightly trampled by little feet running around all over.
Ten-year-old Adrian, was chasing his seven-year-old best friend Eliot, yet again. This field near the cliff had always been a witness to their friendship and today was no different; However, it was uncertain, if it would be the same in the coming future as well.
Suddenly, Elio’s arm was pulled along into a back hug by his friend. “Caught you.” The Alpha smiled, wrapping his arms around the Omega.
“Silly Addy, you still lost.” Elio giggled, his honey sweet voice reaching the Alpha’s ears, making him chuckle in response.
Eliot was a male Omega; which were considered extremely rare in the werewolf kind, he was unique right from the day he was born.
“Why did I lose Elio?” Adrian asked in a gentle voice, arms still around the Omega’s waist.
Eliot turned around in his arms and looked up at his best friend, a breathtaking smile on his chubby face.
“You were supposed to race with me, not catch me.” Elio replied in an obvious tone, shaking his head.
“It’s okay, I don’t mind losing to you.” Adrian bopped Elio’s nose, making his nose scrunch cutely.
“Addy,” The omega mumbled softly after a moment, suddenly gloomy and Adrian knew exactly why, he sighed and engulfed Elio in a hug, who hid himself in the Alpha’s chest, inhaling his calming mahogany scent.
Adrian always treated the Omega with utmost care and gentleness, even though he was not as fragile as he looked.
“I don’t want to leave you too, Elio, but I have to.” Adrian explained again, stroking the Omega’s fluffy brown hair affectionately.
His heart ached at the thought of staying away from his Elio for seven long years, but he had no choice, his father wanted him to train with the Alpha’s of the Snowy Mountains and being the heir, he was in no position to deny.
Both of them had grown so fond of each other, the idea of separation was always painful, even if they were aware that the dreaded moment would arrive, since the start.
“But then, who will train me and my wolf?” Elio questioned, slight tears pooling, in his exceptional maroon eyes.
“Your father Elio, isn’t he the Pack Alpha?” Adrian questioned in reply, wiping Elio’s and his own tears, that threatened to fall, looking at the disheartened expression on the Omega’s face.
Elio didn’t reply, only stood there with a sad pout.
“I’ll miss you.” Adrian confessed with a sad smile.
“Me too.” Elio agreed, looking at the black orbs of the Alpha.
Adrian and Eliot belonged to different packs of wolves, but that never came in the way of their friendship, ever since they had met each other three years ago, at this very same place.
“Enough of that pout now, where is that pretty smile?” Adrian squished the Omega’s apple cheeks, who was a couple of inches shorter. Elio only resisted, not giving the Alpha what he wanted.
“You leave me no choice then.” Adrian said mischievously and started rolling up his sleeves, Elio gasped in realization.
“No, not the tickles!” He squeaked and ran away as quickly as he could.
Elio was fast, but ran in the wrong direction, meeting with a dead end of the cliff.
“Nowhere to go now.” Adrian wiggled his fingers playfully, cornering the Omega, who was looking around in panic, trying to find ways to escape, when he thought of a plan.
Just as the Alpha leaped forward, Elio stepped to the side swiftly, tricking Adrian.
Unluckily, the grass was slippery and Adrian lost his balance, falling over the edge of the cliff, to Elio’s horror, who let out a frightened scream.
The Alpha closed his eyes, prepared for the worst, when he felt soft hands clasping his wrist, pulling all of his weight to safety.
He opened his eyes and steadied himself to see, a tearful Elio clasping his wrist and apologizing, running his hands all over his face and body to see if he was hurt.
“It’s okay, I’m okay.” Adrian breathlessly hugged the Omega, rubbing his back, calming them both down.
Both of them were equally shocked, but for different reasons.
After a few good minutes of catching their breaths, Adrian looked at Elio in admiration and disbelief.
“How did you pull me up with that small body of yours?” Adrian asked, amazed.
This was not the first time he had seen the Omega do something unbelievable for his rank, but it always managed to blow him away.
“I saved you, and you’re making fun of my size.” The Omega complained, wiping his tears away, not realizing what he had done at all, his concern was only the safety of his Alpha friend.
“I’m sorry.” Adrian couldn’t help but chuckle at his obliviousness and Elio let out an offended gasp.
“Now you’re laughing at me, I had got so scared for you, meanie Alpha.” Elio said, and turned around to leave, stomping his little feet in anger.
“Elio wait!” Adrien whined, yet again, running to catch up with the Omega.
It was always like this with the two, and this is why Adrian was not afraid to leave Elio on his own, the Omega was special, not only to him but to the entire werewolf kind.
Not everyone knew, about Eliot being different than normal Omegas and they had to keep it that way for several reasons.
Both Eliot and Adrian were sons of pack Alphas.
Adrian Fenrys was the son of Alpha Jayden Fenrys; Head of the Nova Pack and Eliot Marrok was the son of Alpha Stephan Marrok; Head of the Calyx Pack.
Alpha Marrok and Alpha Fenrys were both strong leaders and respected members of the Werewolf Council and probably the only pack leaders, who were close to each other.
Alpha Marrok had faced a lot of criticism during the time when Eliot was born, a male omega as an heir was unacceptable to the world and so it became an unsaid fact that Eliot’s cousin, the Alpha son of Stephan’s younger brother, would be next pack Alpha.
Stephan never detested his precious son for his rank and loved him for the beautiful and kind soul he was, just like his wife, his beloved Luna named Diana.
Diana knew how cruel the world could be to Omegas and especially, a male Omega like her son.
She was protective towards him and her sensitive heart broke every time she heard anything bad about Elio.
She prayed to the Moon Goddess with utmost sincerity and diligence, to always keep Elio from harm; but she never imagined her prayers would be answered in such an extraordinary way.
Enrique rubbed his shoulders to steal some warmth, as he scrutinized the thick clouds overhead.A spike of piercing lightning forced him to look away from the sky, when his gaze fell on the small gathering around the pack infirmary. He could not see clearly through the window, but it appeared like an emergency in the middle of the night, he could make out the silhouettes of the pack nurses and Elio and Adrian among a few unfamiliar ones. His feet moved automatically towards the door, he would do anything for those two at this point, Elio and Adrian had become important people in his life, it was because of them that his existence had become purposeful again. He was aware the pack Alpha was unavailable at the moment, and in his absence a commotion near the infirmary didn’t seem like good news.He took hurried steps towards where Elio was now standing, helping a stranger remove his overcoat and checking him for injuries, and damn did the stranger look bloodied.“Like I said, it is not my
Adrian gently pushed the door open into his spacious room, as he put the smiling Omega back onto his feet, on the soft hardwood floor.Elio inhaled the refreshing, mahogany scent of the Alpha that lingered everywhere in the room, it was an oddly familiar feeling, coming back here again after a handful years. There was the same large bed next to the wall, the dark curtains that swayed lightly in the moonlit breeze slipping in from the full-sized sliding window of the empty balcony, and the metal wind chime that tinkled along, most of the things in this room were the same as before, at first glance, yet there were a few changes. The little things that Elio observed, showed that the Alpha had grown up with time. There were twin longswords hanging on the far wall, a small writing desk with a stack of scrolls and papers, occupied a warm corner by the hearth. The rosewood shelf across the room was bigger now and fuller with different books and metal badges, signifying Adrian’s various achie
Adrian, Elio, and their friends reached pack Nova by early dusk, they were warmly welcomed by the representative pack members and everyone seemed elated to be in their presence. The residents of the Nova pack were very excited to meet their Alpha heir’s friends, they pretended to go about their everyday chores out in the fields, with an actual intention to catch a glimpse, of the most famous young wolves of their generation. There were hushed noises of awe, surprise, and heartfelt gushes, especially as the wondering eyes of the crowd fell over the chattering Omega whose hands were entwined softly, with their brightly grinning Alpha. Elio and Adrian were in the spotlight even as they merely walked towards the Fenrys residence. The people had not seen Adrian be this comfortable with anyone other than his father, everyone could immediately tell that Elio meant a lot to him. There was no denying that there were substantial rumors about the male Omega, ever since the events of the rog
Elio had been to the Nova pack, a couple of times before when he was younger, but this time, felt a whole lot different for him. They were going to Adrian’s pack to meet his friends according to what they had planned, and it pushed the dainty little Omega’s nerves to the edge, thinking about all sorts of things, while sitting cross legged on the bed. What kind of impression would he have on his Alpha friends, would they judge him? would he be able to act normally in front of Alpha Fenrys? Will he end up embarrassing everyone? All these questions were driving him anxious.“Elio?” Adrian’s voice snapped him out of his internal panicking and he turned to look at the Alpha who had just stepped out of the bathroom. He was freshly showered, his hair dripping wet, dampening the plain white shirt he had on.“I asked you for a towel,” The Alpha repeated and purposely ruffled his drenched hair to sprinkle droplets of water on Elio, who giggled and reached for the towel near the cupboard, but th
“Let go of me, please, let go!” A high-pitched voice resonated amidst the deserted forest, situated near the pack borders of the Cypress that appeared dark and eerie, surrounded by dense vegetation clogging the moonlight.“What did you think, you could escape you disgusting little wench!” A deeper voice answered and the sound of agonizing screams accompanied, as the two bulky figures began kicking a collapsed whimpering bundle on the rocky ground.“No, please!” The petite male cried, “please let me go, I won’t ever try to run away again, I beg you!” The young boy pleaded clutching his abused stomach, and weakly struggled to a kneeling position, using the leftover strength in his frail, bruised arms.“This is what you deserve, you thankless whore, we have shown mercy letting such a lowlife breed like you to stay in our chambers despite being rejected twice and this is how you repay us!” The taller
Elio was impatiently tapping his foot waiting for Adrian to return from the infirmary, since he had got a lot of rest the entire day, the petite male couldn’t sleep a wink, and he was only looking forward to spend his time cuddling with the Alpha, while being all warm and snug in his safe arms. It was a little selfish on his part to make Adrian stay the night, but the Omega couldn’t help it because he had really gotten used to the Alpha’s calming presence. Honestly, if it were up to him, the Omega would have preferred for the Alpha to stay forever, but then again, he didn’t have the courage to say that to him, nor the right. Adrian was an Alpha heir, and he definitely had more important responsibilities than to hang around a silly Omega, who was secretly crushing on him. Elio had finally let himself admit that he had a crush on his best friend, which was obviously only the half-truth, the Omega still didn’t allow his heart to proclaim the more transpa
