“You could have rebuilt your life.” Sebastian laughs bitterly. “I did.” His hand gestures toward the warehouse. “I rebuilt it piece by piece.” Marcus whispers, “…starting with revenge.” Sebastian nods. “Yes.” His gaze sharpens. “I infiltrated Reyes Holdings. I watched you build your empire.” Marcus sighs. “This speech is getting long.” Sebastian ignores him. “And I waited. Until I found the perfect weakness.” His eyes move briefly toward the entrance, as if he expects someone else to appear.

Two weeks. That’s all it takes. Everything I said would happen—does. The market dips exactly where I expected. The acquisition collapses publicly, messy and loud, dragging names with it. Sonia was familiar with their game plans and wasn't interested in engaging in a gunfight with them. Benjamin drove skillfully as he evaded most of the bullets. Sonia fidget with the gun in her hand unbothered as she examines it like a long-lost valuable possession. The bullet which was being fired continuously had reduced and Sonia chose the moment to counter-attack. Even after her rebirth she still proved to be ahead of them.
