So this would be his first and she couldn't wait to see the look on his face. He stared down upon her his specks changing from light amber to a midnight color....one sign that a Lycan was interested in you. Yea...he was most definitely one of those pompous creatures that thought himself to be far superior to a mere homosapien such as herself. His mouth hiked up at the corner in an arrogant smirk, his cheeks showing the prominent dimples he had making him even more appealing. The smirk infuriated her, like she would fall to her knees in his holy presence.

He takes his forefinger away, releasing my lips before he returns my smile with a heart - stopping smile of his own. My smile falls off my lips as my heart actually stops for a nanosecond. “ You are smiling. ” I speak in a robotic tone and as an instant response he stops smiling. “ I mean you actually smiled. Not in that - ” I copy his smirk letting the left side of my lips curl up. “ smirk kind of way. You actually smiled like - ” I let the smirk drop and smile at him to explain how he just actually smiled at something.

Sly raised his hand, eyes sparkled and nostrils flared in excitement. “You also can bring our SQE. I’ll give y’all a special pass. With that pass, you can pretty much roam anywhere.” The bait was almost getting captured by her desired fish. “Is it okay?” Smile was quite skeptical to let any other members play inside this unknown territory. Shadow laughed as if she understood his mind. “What are you afraid of?” The inquiry punched Smile into his guts. It was, by any means, a mocking. Her intonation and playful expression gave away the intention.

"But I really need to go do some, uh… important stuff." The silence that follows is thick, stretching between us like a taut wire ready to snap. Then— That smile. That smirk. The one that never reaches his eyes, the one that gleams with quiet amusement, like a cat toying with its food. He doesn’t believe me. I can see it. But he doesn’t push it, doesn’t call me out. Instead, his large, calloused hand shoots up, cupping my jaw aggressively, fingers digging into my skin hard enough to bruise.

He closes the gap between us, leaving nothing but space between us. His arctic eyes are fixed on nowhere else but my loatheful ones. I stand unthreatened beneath his tall frame as we stare at each other like two lions, ready to slit each other’s throats.

He raises his hand to strike me and I pull the trigger without even thinking about it. The overly loud sound made me scream, causing my eyes to close shut, my whole body trembling and shaking with fear.

His arms encircled my waist, and when I glanced up, he wore a smirk. "'What if you lose?'" he mocked, recalling my earlier statement amidst the raucous noise surrounding us. I laughed and playfully punched him in the shoulder. "Maybe you should've lost," I teased, but my giggle faded when he smacked my lower back. The music resumed its pounding rhythm, and from the corner of my eye, I noticed the other guy approaching. "Well done," he said flatly, obviously feeling sore about the outcome. Hayden absentmindedly rubbed the spot where he had just smacked me before turning his gaze to the guy. He merely shrugged, his face remaining impassive. He was striking with charm and mischief. I know exactly what his smirk means . It means you are a goner now . " hahaha...you are acting like you were committing sin under my nose " he laughed openly . I rolled my eyes on his comments . He was beaming today . He seems like he was very happy today . The portal itself feeling of mist and smoke, and when I pulled my hand back, I was almost surprised to not find a thin condensation on my skin. “I’ll go first.” Simon said dutifully, “so you can fall into my arms on the other side.” He smirked at me, his sapphire eyes twinkling, as I rolled my own at him. He leaned down and kissed my forehead, surprising me with his gentleness; before he jumped backwards into the portal. His body exploding into smoke before disappearing completely.

I was tired of both loving and hating that sound. "Your voice...I really hate it," I mumbled and opened my eyes, turning to look at him, wanting to see his reaction and I saw that he had this unexplainable look on his face. Something between a smirk and a frown, which was freaky as hell because I don't know how that's even possible. But then again, the man can turn into an animal and back. He tilted his head, the smirk on his face becoming more defined and I watched as the wind blew threw his hair and it flew backwards, away from his face, "I find that hard to believe."
