Rise of Seraphim Daughter of Michael

Rise of Seraphim Daughter of Michael

she heard the house mother shout her name in annoyance She chuckled too late she pulled out of the driveway roared down the street by passing numerous blond-haired blue-eyed and beautiful pure-blooded angels going about their morning along the three-lined suburban avenues of the civilian residential homes of Sparda many teens were grouped together at the bus stops dressed in the pristine white and gold uniforms of the elite students of Gabriel's Academy as they waited for the bus that would transport them to school she smirked at some of the nasty looks she was getting from the so-called elites she was a Michaels Academy girl and they didn't have fancy uniforms

Eclipse Academy

Eclipse Academy

Somehow… Those four words seemed to say everything I hadn’t known how to put into sentences. I looked at both of them. “So…” I clapped my hands together once. “What are we waiting for?” They both looked at me. “If your father mentioned someone who might know something…” I stood up. “Then let’s go find him.” The academy library was quieter than usual. Tall shelves stretched toward the vaulted ceiling, filled with thousands of books that smelled faintly of leather and old papers. We made our way toward the front desk. An older woman looked up from the ledger she was organizing. Round spectacles rested low on her nose. She smiled politely. “Good morning.”

Sparks Fly

Sparks Fly

She asked, coming to sit on the opposite sofa. "I'm just worried about Sofia," she exhaled ruefully. "What did she want to talk about?" "The Spark." "Yeah, it's starting tomorrow, I know," she said, leaning forward. "No, it's not." "Yes, it is, haven't you seen..." Her voice trailed off, as she watched Tanya's face. Alicia gasped, "Don't tell me..." Tanya sighed, "I need to draft some documents, I'll turn off the lights don't worry."

The Phoenix Wolf's Awakening

The Phoenix Wolf's Awakening

But it was the single photograph she placed on top that made the decision. Marcus. Standing beside a younger Aria at some forgotten pack gathering, both of them smiling at something beyond the camera's view. "He would have wanted this," she'd said quietly. "A place where different doesn't mean dangerous. Where power is taught, not feared." The Academy was different from the Phoenix School. Broader. It welcomed rare wolves, phoenix descendants, witch-blooded, anyone who didn't fit the traditional pack structure. We built it on neutral ground between Nightshade and Silver Moon, a sprawling complex that rose from earth that had never known blood. Derek had insisted on that—no history, no ghosts

The Fairy's Dragon Guardian

The Fairy's Dragon Guardian

I seemed to have understood this situation. Demon sparrows are known to have a powerful core that can make a human immortal. Although the hunt for their race significantly decreased ever since the devils took abode in the Mortal Realm, that doesn’t mean that it has completely disappeared. I tried to sound as soft as possible, “Don’t be afraid. We are not here to hurt you nor your baby. Alright?” “Will it work?” Jethro asked me, but I ignored him. I looked at the sparrow mom, “I guess.”

" It's amazing. seeing all species in a single academy. Will there be Werewolfs? fairies?" I questioned.

Ex-husband’s Regret

Ex-husband’s Regret

“Don’t always stay with me.” Sparrow thought dating shouldn’t be this clingy. They hadn’t just met—they had grown up together. “Go and experience university life properly.” They would have so much time later, four years didn’t matter. “You like basketball, right? Go play with your classmates.” Henry held her and watched her sign documents. “Your handwriting is really beautiful.” Sparrow pushed him away. “Go.” Henry said, “I still think being with you is fun.” Sparrow said, “I think it’s okay.”

What happens to Ryan now? Will he just be cast aside? I believe there must also be a backstory about Ryan and Charlotte, on Ryan's side of the story, I just lost interest now when Charlotte already started a relationship with Frank while not hearing out Ryan side of the story. It's sad.

the book was amazing at the first but there are too many characters and chapters so it's getting boring but if u end the book with Charlotte and Ryan patching up again then it would turn amazing and there are two many parts just end it asap ...but still great hard work ...️

Luveldom Academy

Luveldom Academy

The gradual change in scenery took effect as soon as the tall, urban Seattle buildings were replaced by the densely populated trees of Olympia. Mount Olympia increased in size as we drove closer to our destination. The natural forests exuded an effect that calmed me. Vivienne had informed me that we were about three minutes away which made sense because we were definitely traveling the road less traveled. "Do you want to see something cool?" Look behind you," I listened to Vivienne and a Supernatural phenomenon occurred right before me. This is what I was waiting for. The tar road behind us slowly transformed into an abundant collection of trees on the earthly ground. The further we kept goi

The Alpha & The Harpy

The Alpha & The Harpy

They often got on well enough to know about each other, or at the very least, entertain mutual and civil respect for one another. Samuel and I knew well enough that there was no Sparrow Harpy Clan. Such a thing didn't exist. The closest to this was the Hawk Harpy Clan, which had sparrow hawks within that clan, but they were very different and no Harpy bore a shifter's mark either. This young Sparrow was a true sparrow shapeshifter, and this hoard of Dark Ones had cut off one of her wings at such a young age. If she had ever flown before, being so young, she might have before now... yet if she had? Unfortunately, she would never again feel the joy of flight.

Frequently Asked Questions

I read 'The Sparrow' ages ago and honestly, it still sits with me in a way few books do. The basic setup is humanity's first contact: we get a signal from the planet Rakhat, it's beautiful alien music, and the Jesuits send a secret crew to make first contact. The story's told through two timelines—one where the sole survivor, a priest named Emilio Sandoz, returns physically and psychologically destroyed, and one that follows the mission from its hopeful start. The plot’s not really about the aliens, it’s about what happens when you’re so sure God’s calling you somewhere, and then everything you believe and are gets shattered by the reality you find.

Sandoz is such a broken character by the end. The way the book explores faith, cultural arrogance, and unintended consequences is brutal. The crew goes with the best intentions, but their mere presence, their human assumptions, set off a chain of events that leads to absolute horror. It’s a first contact story that feels more like a tragedy about communication failing on every possible level.
