Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

“He fell from the nest. The song was all wrong. It was a hurting song. So I… I held him. And I sang to him. I sang the song my mom sings to me when I have a bad dream. And look!” As they watched, the sparrow, which had been lying still, gave a weak shudder. Then, it slowly, carefully, straightened its bent wing. It let out a small, questioning chirp, hopped once in Sera’s hand, and then fluttered unsteadily to a low-hanging branch of the Heartwood. It sat there for a moment, preening its feathers, before flying off into the twilight. Sera beamed, her face glowing with pride and wonder. “I fixed the song!”

Tears of the Moon

Tears of the Moon

So in the mean time, I want us to find happiness with each other as often as possible until then. We had made it to her room and decided to take a shower together which resulted in some serious passion and steam. I have noticed my little sparrow really likes it in the shower especially when she orgasms because the water helps her from lighting fires. I made her cum over and over and over again with just my mouth as her legs were perched on each of my shoulders. Then, when I knew she was close to passing out from exhaustion, I filled her full of my seed twice before she collapsed.

Sparks Fly

Sparks Fly

He was so smart on top of that, it made it really easy to babysit him, Evan had already learnt a few words which he frequently used to convey things like, sippy for water, yes and no, yum for food, etc, otherwise it was just random babbling. Whenever Lucas would be too busy to give him attention, he would put on rhymes for him on the television or on the phone and Evan would obediently watch that, until the older would come and play with him. Evy, as Lucas had started to fondly call him, loved his sketchbook and colours with all his heart and soul, the only time Lucas had ever seen him cry hysterically, was when he had accidently spilled water on the book with his sipper, and all his colourf

Ex-husband’s Regret

Ex-husband’s Regret

Suddenly, Yasmin spoke up, "How about calling her Sparrow?" "Sparrow has connotations of freedom, joy, community, resilience, and simplicity.'" Jane clapped her thigh. "Ms. Jackson is great at naming!" Yasmin pinched the baby's cheek. "Sparrow." Sparrow smiled. Jane cocked her brows. "Looks like the little one really likes it, and the meaning is good too." I thought it was great as well, I called her name several times, and Sparrow smiled back at me. "What's going on? It's so lively in here."

What happens to Ryan now? Will he just be cast aside? I believe there must also be a backstory about Ryan and Charlotte, on Ryan's side of the story, I just lost interest now when Charlotte already started a relationship with Frank while not hearing out Ryan side of the story. It's sad.

the book was amazing at the first but there are too many characters and chapters so it's getting boring but if u end the book with Charlotte and Ryan patching up again then it would turn amazing and there are two many parts just end it asap ...but still great hard work ...️

SPARKING THE FIRE

SPARKING THE FIRE

Celine sat back down to enjoy how the Yazeran sky was this afternoon. the sun that began to sink on the horizon, looked so beautiful together with the expanse of the desert. As far as she could see from above, Yazeran was indeed filled with sandy plains. But really, the exotic value of this place deserves a thumbs up. It's true what Ruby said, there is a sense of wanting to return to this barren land even if you have to struggle with grains of dust.

The Disabled CEO's Swapped Bride

The Disabled CEO's Swapped Bride

“But... Sarah...” Her eyes met his. And he saw it. That flicker of something wild. Something familiar. Like a phantom behind a racing visor. Darius blinked, stunned. “Wait… no way...” “Yes.” Her jaw clenched. “I’m Sparrow.” He stared at her, speechless for a moment. Sparrow. The nameless, faceless legend from the underground circuits. The one he’d tried to chase down after a glimpse of her silhouette speeding into the night. He’d searched for her. Dreamed about her. Obsessed.

My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

They spilled out of me in Romanian and Japanese at the same time, overlapping like double exposure: “Lumină lină, ceață blândă—ridică aripa frântă.” “Yasashii kiri, hikari yo—tsubasa o naose.” The mist answered. It rose from the cracks in the concrete, silver and warm, wrapping the bird like cotton. Light—soft, not blinding—poured from the center of my right palm where the spiral sometimes slept. The broken wing straightened with a tiny pop. Bones knitted. Feathers smoothed. The sparrow blinked once, looked up at me with black bead eyes, and launched straight into the sky.

INNOCENCE || BOOK 2

INNOCENCE || BOOK 2

Chirping, sparrows flew above her head to another tree planted in their lawn. It was the beginning of March. Spring was coming. Finally, winters were over. Hazel loved that season. From the bottom of her heart. Spring brought life back to nature. Trees were green once again, butterflies and birds hovering over the sky, and flowers blooming. She could see that around herself — the garden of their house was quite big to show her that all. And she was out shopping this morning. Gabriella accompanied her.

MR BODYGUARD, DON'T LOVE ME!

MR BODYGUARD, DON'T LOVE ME!

Gale arrives just in time, While Derek holds Verss who fell unconscious, Gale easily knocks over the men who gang up on Arland black and blue. The sparrow flew to perch on a block in the villa area which was full of small twigs that had fallen from trees and been carried by the wind, With its small beak the bird picked up a lot and flew back to the branch of a tall tree where it was building a nest with its mate. The perfectly shaped eyebrows and large, long eyelids that were still closed slowly moved, opening his eyes slowly and closing them quickly again when he realized that the bright sunlight was hitting his face.

Eagles

Eagles

Eagles quarters None of them had memories, they were one, and their whole life was based on killing. Their eyes were empty, devoid of feelings, cold. They had no family, no friends, they didn’t know what love was – they had never experienced it. They were told they were special, one of a kind. They were like machines, marionettes obeying orders. They never hesitated, taking the lives of others. They had no right to make their own decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

The first thing that struck me about 'The Sparrow' was how brutally it dismantles the idea of benevolent exploration. It starts with such hope—a Jesuit mission to an alien world, driven by curiosity and faith. But what unfolds is a harrowing meditation on suffering, cultural misunderstanding, and the silence of God. Mary Doria Russell doesn’t just ask whether we’re alone in the universe; she forces us to confront whether any divine presence would even care about our pain. The way Father Emilio’s faith shatters after encountering the Runa and Jana’ata still haunts me—it’s less about aliens and more about how fragile our moral frameworks really are.

What’s even more chilling is how the novel mirrors real-world colonialism. The missionaries assume their intentions are pure, but their very presence destabilizes an entire civilization. That moment when Emilio realizes they’ve accidentally become conquerors? Gut-wrenching. It’s a theme that resonates today—how often do we charge into situations, armed with good intentions, only to leave destruction in our wake? The book’s brilliance lies in making you question whether empathy is ever truly possible across irreconcilable differences.
