Sparrows Academy Novels & Stories

Vaike responded honestly. Even now, he couldn't shake off the chill crawling up his spine. - Saintly Woods Academy was a prestigious private academy for elites located in Springberg. Its vast campus was perpetually filled with the sounds of studious students amidst rustic and picturesque landscapes. It was the pride of Springberg, renowned for its academic and educational excellence. A glance at the school's alumni would reveal the multitude of brilliant individuals it had produced and the numerous accolades it had achieved.

Evy, as Lucas had started to fondly call him, loved his sketchbook and colours with all his heart and soul, the only time Lucas had ever seen him cry hysterically, was when he had accidently spilled water on the book with his sipper, and all his colourful scribbles had become distorted and blurry. It was that day Lucas realized, that he and little Evan had a lot in common and one of them was their love towards art. The raven-haired was nothing but immensely grateful for Evan’s presence in his life now, and someone who deserved a huge credit for making him realize that, was his best friend, Austin Lee, who had graduated from the same university, majoring in liberal arts and was currently work

There had been a few that seemed to stay near the ship during the journey, but no where near as many as he knew her flock was. “No, it’s nesting season,” she explained. “I cannot disrupt their natural cycles, or I would soon have no familiars left. Sparrows are not immortal. The flock does grow, with new sparrows joining, as well and new births, but it also thins as they grow old and die. So, most have remained behind to begin the next generation, and I only have those with me who are more adventurous,” she smiled a little as she said it. “They all have personalities,” she explained when he raised an eyebrow. “They are all distinct to me. Maybe not to the extent of having names, but I recogn

It was a allied Pack of Dane's, the Bane Moon Pack, so the area was designated as safe. Plus, it was filled with students and clan from Sparrow Falls, Dane and Theo told me of a few friends they had, Lisa warning me of the girls obsessed with one or all of my mates, I giggled seeing their shared embarassment. Annie twitched her ears, ready to be a brat.

I decide to go to the bathroom which is the farthest from my class, hoping that when I get back Eric and Jenna have finished talking about Prom. The back of our school is directly adjacent to the Pepperwell forest, even though there is a guard rail but in certain parts it has been damaged. The few kids who wanted to smoke or skip classes usually did so while hiding in the Pepperwell woods.

That spot belongs to me. How do I explain this? Should I tell her the truth? Would she be weirded out? She’s from the orphanage system—nothing to her name, no family. That’s how the Academy traps girls like her. They have nothing, and we offer them a life. A luxurious life, one they can't ever refuse. And they take it, because the alternative is starvation. Or worse. "Uhm," I mumble when she turns to look at me. "What?" She asks with a frown.

You'd think after seventeen years, I'd be used to it. You'd be wrong. "Aria Blackwood," I read aloud, tracing the elegant calligraphy with my thumb. No one in Pine Hollow received mail with such beautiful writing. Hell, most of us were lucky if the bills arrived without coffee stains. The return address made my blood turn to ice: Crimson Moon Academy. "No," I whispered, my hands starting to shake. "No, no, no." But there it was, the official seal pressed into blood-red wax—a crescent moon wrapped around a wolf's head. Everyone knew what that meant. Every human between seventeen and nineteen knew what that meant.

As we sat around the fire eating our meal Noc cleared his throat. “What do you know about Josephine Sparrow?” Noc asked me, slight annoyance evident in his voice. He still wasn’t completely on board with everything. “Well she’s a blonde bombshell, she went to some academy abroad. No ones quite sure why she went there. Rumors are that she’s a cruel woman but they have never been confirmed. No actions have proven that.” I said, sipping my water. He nodded in understanding before getting up and heading to the sleeping area. I opted to take the first watch tonight.

I had only caught glimpses of the school and its inhabitants, and my previous experiences with Briar and Liam had left me anxious. As we walked down the grand staircase, I couldn’t help but notice the intricate details of the architecture. High ceilings adorned with magical motifs, large windows that seemed to glow with their own light, and artwork that pulsed with a life of its own created an atmosphere that felt both enchanted and intimidating. “Windamere Academy is unlike any other school,” my uncle began, guiding me through the spacious foyer. “It’s not just a place for learning; it’s a sanctuary for beings like us. You’ll find all kinds of species here, each with their own unique abilit

Taking them all off-guard, the paper sparrow started talking, “I, EVANORA YOUNGBLOOD, welcome you all in our Holy village SARAINE. I was supposed to meet you, but something came up in the last moment. So, I hereby am sending this little one to guide you all in the visitor area of our village, where you could stay and rest for the time being. I will shortly send someone to fetch you for our meeting.” Conveying this message, the little paper sparrow started flapping it’s tiny paper wings, gesturing all of them to follow it. “Oh Lord! Am I really watching a piece of paper talking?” Valor whispered in Estella’s ears, who giggled sheepishly. She was overjoyed and excited to see all these magical
