They stopped before me, the engines coming off one after the other. Henrique Crimson Sparrow took off his helmet, his short strawberry blonde visible under the full moon's light. He had a scar running down his chin. He smiled, stepping off his bike. “You nuts have a death wish, Xavier? Coming here alone?” I smiled back, a cold smile devoid of any humor. “Who says I’m alone?” Henrique Crimson Sparrow looked confused, and looked around the space. Henrique followed my movements with his eyes. Then, the forest came to life.

I’m too lost in my own childhood fear to care if she is baiting me or trying to calm me. “No, no, it’s fine. I’ll do it. Where is the coop?” I ask, looking around. “It’s behind Freddie’s tent. You know, a bird to monitor the birds.” “Freddie is a hawk shifter.” I frown at her. “Hawks eat chickens…” “Huh, well, so do all of us,” she smirks and walks off.

“But whatever drama it is you are playing, I want no part in it.” She stood to her feet, snatching her bag from the table. I smiled softly. “Ahh… Don’t be so impatient, Freda. I will tell you. A sparrow signifies hope, and pinning it against that door squashed that hope.” Again, that smile. This time, there was a glint in her eyes.

The sparrow died with the regret of not killing him. My story ended with my death. Finally, Sparrow was free from the demon. Death set her free. . . . THE END *****

Spikes admiring it, a large bird, perhaps, an hawk flew off a broken window beautifully and swooped down towards us, flying in at full speed. Mr. Spikes eyes were greener than ever as he stood, his neck, longer and tilted up, watching the wonderful bird entertain us. The bird got closer and closer, its shadow, right at my front - smaller but darker, I thought its eyes were locked in with mine. When I was becoming quite worried that it was heading for one of us, it flipped its wings to another angle and stirred away from us with a chirrup. A look of worry raided Mr. Spikes face at once and he started shouting, waving after the bird. "Birdy, come 'ere!", He kept quiet then went off again, loud

He was tied hands and legs so that he didn't fall out yet he struggled while mumbling in pain. Her men carried Sparrow with the chair out of the dungeon up to the roof top then she resumed pushing him while chanting the words, "Kill him, let him live." Sparrow was horrified seeing his end was near. He struggled with all his might disregarding his pain. When they got to the edge, the chant ended with "kill him."

The easily six inch wide wreath of monkshood surrounding the bird is what has set my beast off. “Well?” she asks, her voice muffled by the pillow and her arm. “Right here…” I trace the sparrow, “is a sparrow.” “Like what you call me?” her delight is evident in her voice. “Yes baby. The greeks believed it to symbolise deep love and connection.” My finger drifts to the deadly wreath encircling the little sparrow.

The spy stood at the center of the chamber, mud streaking his boots, exhaustion written clearly across his face. But beneath the fatigue was something sharper. Urgency. On his head, a crown given him by the dawn goddess, made of silver and pearls. A bird flew in the window and perched on his shoulder and spoke to him. This bird had sky-blue feathers, a golden beak, golden claws, and golden eyes. It was one of Apollo's sun hawks. It was this bird's job to fly here and there gathering news. Sometimes she was called the spy bird. Now she said, "Lord Apollo, I have seen your son!"

He wonders what her package might be since the box itself is a bit big, but a little lightweight. He arrives at his apartment and directly went to the kitchen. He puts down the package on the kitchen counter and gets his scissors in one of his drawers. He opens the box with the scissors and he was surprised to see what Jaiden sent him. It was a personalized hoodie. It was a black and blue colored hoodie, with his name at the back, and animated-looking birds in front. Then he remembers his green-cheeked parakeet, named Phili, from his childhood days. He looked inside the box to see if he left something there. He notices that there was a letter from Jaiden. The letter reads;
