I recited the incantation out loud, my voice steady but laced with sarcasm. "Krampus, devourer of the wicked, I summon you. Come and claim what is rightfully yours." The candles flickered weakly. Nothing happened at first. I rolled my eyes, thinking what a waste of time this was. I was about to snuff out the flames and just rub one out to some p**n when the room suddenly grew freezing cold. Frost spread across the glass panes like living veins, and the overhead lights buzzed before going out completely, leaving only the eerie blue glow from the candles.

Samael said in a mocking tone. Welcome back. I opened my eyes to a pitch-black world devoid of any sound or signs of life. Glancing to my left, my heart skipped a beat. There stood an enormous, black castle, emanating a gothic and gloomy aura. Its towering spires reached for the sky, with bats swirling around the highest points. It was the epitome of a haunted house, a place one would expect to find in Satan's realm. A perpetual mist seemed to envelop the surroundings, adding to the eerie and terrifying atmosphere.

Even if that hope was evaporating with every second that ticked by, it was the only thing I had left. Noah took his place at the head of the symbol, positioning himself directly across from me. The witch resumed her chanting, her voice a low, eerie melody that filled the air with a sense of impending dread. As if on cue, the wind started to howl, and the sky seemed to darken even though it was already night. The clouds shifted restlessly, obscuring the moon like a shroud, casting the entire setting into a dark gloom. The stars themselves seemed to fade away, as if refusing to bear witness to what was about to happen.

She just wanted prestige without all of the hard work that it required. This room looked like something one would find in a Hollywood vampire bedroom. Dark colors, shadows, and landscapes depicting a couple of Fae wars. It looked as dark and twisted as her soul did. “Oddly fitting,” Dante murmured. “Mhm. No wonder she never wanted anyone else to be able to come in here. It’s a neon sign.” I shook my head and sighed. “We need to find the safe. It’ll be cloaked, but we’ll be able to feel vibrations bounce off it. Take a deep breath and push your aura out,” I instructed.

As they walked back to their rooms, they could feel a chill in the air, a sense of foreboding that made their hairs stand on end. Suddenly, they heard a sound behind them. They turned around and saw a shadowy figure standing in the hallway, watching them with glowing eyes. Marcus and Logan both froze in terror, their hearts pounding in their chests. They could feel the malevolent energy radiating off the figure, a sense of pure evil that made them want to run and hide. The figure stepped closer, its form becoming clearer in the dim light. It was a ghostly apparition, with tattered robes and a face twisted in anger.

"The game difficulty has been upgraded. Only high-level ghosts may remain in Happy Home. Mid-level ghosts must evacuate the residential complex immediately." The fatal mechanical voice echoed throughout the entire building. "What?!" Nicole couldn't help but scream. Granny Rosa was the only high-level ghost they could currently access. Without her as a messenger, they would all die here without question. My father and brother's expressions flickered with panic as they paced back and forth, unable to find a way out.

Ethan: The room was an inferno of indulgence. Haunting melodies filled the vast hall, a blend of violins and guttural chants that vibrated through the air, sinking deep into the bones. Flickering crimson lights bathed everything in a surreal glow, amplifying the setting. Vampires and werewolves mingled in precarious harmony, but the tension was like a taut string waiting to snap.
