Sss Class Hunter Novel Novels & Stories

After that, a different kind of satisfaction came across me. I enjoyed hunting these human hunters, thus, killing 10 werewolves and being the youngest and best werewolf hunter. Rendall killed 8 werewolves which are also not that bad, Quinn is setting poisonous traps and putting some on the bows granting her 4 kills. We make a great team. “Let’s go, Raffi.” I turned and saw Rendall brushing his mid-length hair using his fingers. “Are you going on a date?” I asked him as I scanned his clothes.

I did not rush to shut down the "Goddess Hunter" server. Instead, through a backdoor I had left behind when I analyzed the code earlier, I quietly prepared a brand new module I had already written. I named it "Scumbag Hunter." I sorted all the evidence of his academic fraud, along with the videos and photos of his cheating, into categories and packaged everything together. Then, I turned it all into "Hunting Quests." - After I finished everything, I checked the time.

Then we head out of the house we’ve been sheltering in, moving toward the border. Cassian and I fall into step with each other surprisingly quickly. I didn’t think hunting with a stranger would feel this natural, but it’s as easy as hunting with Kaely was. We don’t have an alpha’s command binding us together, so I wouldn’t have expected things to feel so easy between us, but they do.

My breathing caught painfully. Mother. Again. Always my mother. The one person nobody would explain. Gabriel noticed my reaction instantly. His jaw tightened. “Who are you?” The hunter finally looked toward him. “My name is Cassian.” The name meant nothing to me. But it clearly meant something to Lyra. Her face lost color immediately. “You,” she whispered. Cassian smiled without warmth. “Still alive, Lyra? That’s disappointing.” The giant creature near us snarled violently. The hunters behind Cassian immediately raised silver weapons.

Photos of him and Cassie being disgustingly happy still make my chest ache. You wouldn’t blame me for that, you know? Hunter was the golden prize. Tall, masculine, charming, with those warm hazel eyes and lips that knew exactly how to ruin a girl. So, forgive me when I say I’ve come to the conclusion that I may never fully get over him. Ellis leads me toward the makeshift bar in the corner where three guys stand. “Yo, guys!” My eyes scan around as we head towards them. I can already picture my parents walking in and losing their minds.

Covering up the hole with some moss, she dusted off her dress and hurried home, her thoughts of the Hunters exposing her long gone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "They're here! The Hunters have arrived!" The cries of the young boys ran through the whole village, many men and women coming out to see the sight. Liam riding in front, followed by nine other men, all on horseback. On the back of Liam's horse was the dead carcass of a mountain lion, and his quiver held an unusual number of arrows. Instead of the standard twelve like the rest of the men in his party, it held 15, two from the archer who had shot the beast earlier, as well as the arrow aimed to warn him.

She didn’t know if she could protect herself. But she would die standing before she let these people see her break. The lead hunter’s gaze devoured her. Tiara buzzed violently, static cracking through her system. “Ma—ma—mama—run—” Jenna’s stomach dropped. “No. We stay together.” The hunter stepped into the firelight, revealing more details—bone piercings threaded through his ear cartilage, teeth strung as necklaces, symbols cut into his ribs. Then he raised the spear.

The shift in her eyes. Small. But real. The shadows hesitate. Just for a second. That is all I need. “Close it,” I say. The scarred Hunter moves. Fast. Too fast. He is not running away. He is running toward her. Toward the center. He pulls something from inside his jacket. Not a weapon. A blade. Black metal. Covered in symbols. I recognize it instantly. Old magic. Forbidden. “Rissa,” I shout. She turns toward him.

I fired one last time, hitting him strait between his soulless eyes. He fell to a quivering mass on the ground and I hit the top of the roof twice, letting Aaron know we were alone again. The green Ute slowed to a crawl, but didn't stop. I slipped my gun back into it's waiting home and dropped to a crouch, searching the nearest bags for the extra bulb the boys had brought back with the new food supplies. The adrenalin rush had left me breathless and shaky, but I needed to fix the light. The longer it was out, the longer we had a direct, unlit path to the car.

“Why do you run from me? You are my Bride.” "Like I would be with vermin like you," I hissed, crouching low to the ground, getting ready to attack. I pulled my Sais from my thigh holsters. My blades sharpened to perfection, having been used to kill hundreds of vampires in my five hundred years with the order, were thirsty for another kill. “Those pointy things won’t stop me.” He laughed as he lunged for me, I pivoted and dodged his attack, slicing his arm. “Would you stop and just talk to me?” he asked, annoyed as his wounds quickly healed.
