There were a lot of spells here, and I wondered how we were going to master them because we just have one brain. It didn’t work at first. I started by summoning one of the books from the shelf, but it didn’t work. I tried it up to six times, and it seems like I will never know how to use it. Then suddenly, I shut my eyes and took a deep breath as I recited the spell again. Instantaneously, I feel a strange breeze, and I flick my eyes open. I gasp in shock as I watch the book I had been trying to summon begin to move in the air. It is exactly in my direction, and when I drop my hand, it suddenly falls to the ground.

Then I spoke. “First, the Strigoi concealing spell,” I began, and moved my body into the same position as directed in the book. I recited the first spell. Then the second. Then the tenth. I had changed my approach to memorizing the spells entirely.
