Upon hearing his response Kir laughed as well, realizing that she really did happen to be running like a child searching for refuge from three scary wolves. The three men then split up to look for a different partner as Moose and Kir began to take up our fighting stances, with Moose on defense and me on offense. He turned on his back to leave, but Kirk’s hand shot out, clamping tightly onto his arm. Zach stared down at the hand gripping his arm before his gaze slowly crawled up to meet the man’s face. "Get your hands off me," he ordered, his voice dangerously low. Kirk sneered again. "Of course I will. But first, forgive me for this. Who knows, maybe this will beat some sense back into you and trigger your precious memories," he snapped. Without warning, his fist flew straight toward Zach's jaw. But Zach's reflexes were razor-sharp. He intercepted the punch mid-air before it could connect with his face. Gripping Kirk's fist in a crushing vice, he engaged the man in a lethal staring contest.
