*Starblood Pack — Dungeon, Late Night* The Starblood dungeons smelled of rust. Water dripped steadily from somewhere deep in the tunnels, each drop echoing like a countdown in Lesley’s ears. Moonlight from the narrow slit of a window pooled faintly on the floor, a thin silver blade that mocked her captivity.

"Real enough to drag you back to our master." "Who sent you?" I demanded, trying to sound braver than I felt. The big one's head tilted. "The Blood Star rises again. He waits below, in the place where your bloodline began." Blood Star. The words sent ice through my veins. I didn't know what it meant, but my wolf whimpered in recognition. This was older than I understood. Darker. "They're dead," I whispered. "Yes." The creature's smile widened. "We made sure of that. Just as we made sure of all the others."

"What about my brother? he's a werewolf too." "Think about his special ability. it's mindreading. what if he founded the murderer with his special ability? When i got to the scene, he was already stabbed by that murderer, right? it's like he knows everything about them and when they kill their victims he can see it in his head."

While she stood there wondering what to do next. Then it came across her mind to make use of her powers to control them since she had not started transforming yet like them because she was still too young but she has the blood in her vain, which means she can communicate with them through her eyes and can make them calm down to listen, command them to do as she pleases. Finally, she was able to control them down to the basement and cage them in there and went to bed wondering how she would look like when transforming into a werewolf.

With lightning reflexes, Jake swung the suitcase at the scar-faced rogue. Bloodthirsty, four werewolves clamped down on Jake’s limbs. The last werewolf leaped straight for me. I was quick to dodge, but the werewolf’s claws tore through my collar and left a blood trail along my neck. As my heart raced, I felt a wolf reaching out to me. It was unlikely, though. During my moment of distraction, the rogue got right in my face again. I had to fight him with everything I had. Meanwhile, Jake was pinned down by four werewolves. As I fell into danger, Jake put up a fight, his limbs ripping.

The storage room was dark. The hallway light poured in from behind Derrick, illuminating a large stain of dark red across the floor. It stretched from the doorway where he stood all the way to the corner of the room. I was slumped against the wall with my head tilted slightly to one side. A dried wound cut across my temple. The area around it had swollen into a massive purple bruise, so swollen that one of my eyes was nearly unrecognizable. Blood from my nose had run past my lips and chin, smearing across my cheeks and ears.

Taking tiny sips of the specially formulated wine for vampire's, which he had made himself for vampire's like him who didn't feast on human blood, Roman dwelt on the recent incident. The vampire's wine in his hands tasted differently today, and he blamed it on the woman in his guest bedroom. Now that he had caught on to fresh blood, he was afraid his desires would never die down until he once again had a taste of real blood. "Dammit!" He swore out loudly, causing a few of his subordinates to look in his direction, "Why did she have to drop that glass?"

“Different good, I hope? I’ve been… uh… working on my, you know, vibe.” He leaned back, steepling his fingers. “Your ‘vibe.’” “Yes! You know. More approachable. Less… uh…” I gestured vaguely at my face. “Intimidating?” That earned me a very faint smirk—gone almost as soon as it appeared. “Hmm.” The sound he made was not comforting. Servants moved quietly around the hall, pouring deep red liquid into goblets. One set a glass in front of me, and I froze. Blood.

His lips parted, his breath shaking. “Blood,” he whispered. “I feel like I wanna drink blood.” I froze. Every thought, every plan, every sense of relief I’d had just moments ago vanished. Blood? The fuck is going on? Blood?!
