“M-Master?” Dagger took a step forward, muting the flares of warning from the predator before her. Her frenzied mind turned black and white as her feet staggered forward into the whirlpool of cataclysm. Three steps… Five steps… And by the ninth step, Dagger crushed to the far end part of the arena when a thwack of crimson aura whipped her out of the way. A frail body of a child pinned to the arena’s wall together with the wounded and the corpses. Waves after waves of reddened force kept them pinned on the crumbling walls.

Sage said just the last minute when Kyra held the dagger in her other hand and aimed it directly at his face. Sage didn’t shut his eyes and he just stared at the sharp tip of the knife that was so close to his eyes. It was after two seconds had passed that he wondered why she had stopped and he moved his eyes to look at her. He saw the color of her eyes return back to original and he saw her hands trembling as she now stood up and threw the knife aside.

The silence in the room was thick with tension as Stella and I stared at each other.
