STOLE FROM THE ALPHA

STOLE FROM THE ALPHA

Ezeh Blessinghomeless girl
, Sarah said looking deeply into her daughter's eyes. "Mother, is something wrong?", Aurora's heart skipped a beat as she looked at her mother's serious expression. "What have you been doing all this while to get money?"Sarah asked, "Don't lie to me. '' "Mother, I…", Aurora sighed before deciding to tell her mother the truth", I am sorry, mother. I had no choice". "Did you really…steal?", Sarah said as she held her chest", I am a failure as a mother. I couldn't cater for you and your sister, that's why you resorted to stealing".

The Vitale Brothers Ruined Me, Then Made Me Their Queen

The Vitale Brothers Ruined Me, Then Made Me Their Queen

Then I stop. I look at the empty space on the shelf. They will notice. Not tonight. Maybe not tomorrow. But soon. And when they do, they will know who took it. They will hunt me. Unless... Unless I give them a reason. Unless I leave a message that changes the context of the theft. I walk to the small table in the corner of the vault where Aureliano keeps a ledger. There is a pen. I tear a page from the ledger. I write. My hand shakes, but the letters are clear.

Her Ruthless Beast

Her Ruthless Beast

Ayla was still standing in amazement. "We are compelled to do this." Ayla shrugged and looked at the bicycle. They were compelled and she was carrying necessities from this closed house for the same purpose. "Everyone commits theft under duress. If it was on the medium, then it is theft." He was now sitting on a chair with his head bowed and writing something on a piece of paper. Ayla approached and stood up. And her eyes fell on his hand as he quickly ran the pen over the white paper. His writing was as impressive as his personality.

The Stolen Address

The Stolen Address

I thought that after this incident, he might finally learn his lesson and stop pulling this kind of stunt. Unexpectedly, another delivery showed up outside my door that evening. I took it downstairs and tossed it into the trash along with the garbage from my apartment. When I came back upstairs, Derek was once again standing outside my door arguing with a delivery driver. The moment he saw me, he pointed a finger in my direction. "Was it you who stole my food? You pathetic freeloader. I caught you once at lunchtime, and now you've got the nerve to steal it again tonight?"

Under the Cover of Darkness

Under the Cover of Darkness

“It was a good day then?” “Complete opposite actually.” She chuckled and resumed her previous position on my shoulder. “So how does one steal from the formidable Carson Miller?” “Well, ideally, they start by forging my signature, then they move on to creating bogus projects which they demand money for, then they proceed to use aforementioned forged signature to fast track the release of the money. Easy peasy.” “Wait,” Butterfly sat up again. “You're actually serious.” “It's been going on for two months now, under my nose and I had no idea.”

My Mafia Mate

My Mafia Mate

I wanted to ask why I was just now being informed of this, but it didn’t matter and I wasn’t going to quabble. Harold was a once trusted accountant who had been stealing from us as it turned out for many years. He took such small amounts it didn’t set off any alarms for a while. That was the main problem with thieves. They would take a little bit and get away with it. Then they would begin to feel empowered, emboldened but then the greed would set in. They would feel like a little more wouldn’t go unnoticed, and so on … until they were in way over their heads and it was far too late.

BABYSITTING MY BULLY

BABYSITTING MY BULLY

“Sure.” As we walked through the hallway, his friends came in to steal him away from me. I just decided to continue going further, but each step made my chest crawl. Everyone gave me menacing stares. “Thief.” “Poor thing, she stole from Sloane.” “She must be hungry.” My palms became sweaty as I noticed a banner glued to my locker. I squished my eyebrows together. There's a picture of me with big bold write-ups. KLEPTOMANIAC

The Lycan King’s Rogue Queen

The Lycan King’s Rogue Queen

All of it humming with that smug solar charm that pretends theft is philanthropy. “Subtle,” Lumi said. “If you’re blind.” Riley ran a finger down a page. “The ink’s been blessed. It tries to look cleaner the longer you read it.” “Can you break it?” I asked. She looked up, eyes glinting silver. “Please.” She set both palms on the ledger. Her power didn’t blaze this time — it breathed. A quiet, stubborn correction. The ink peeled away and recopied itself onto our blank sheets, line for line. Perfect theft of a theft.

The Alpha's Secret Luna

The Alpha's Secret Luna

I can start over. The next step in this haphazard plan is to borrow the car from the farm across the bridge. I didn't have as much time to scout this farm, but I know the old wolf couple has an old car. Although I feel even worse stealing their car, I have to remind myself that my life is more important than my morals right now. I leave a small stash of cash I pilfered from the Alpha, along with another short apology note. Hopefully, they won't notice it for a few days.

Mary Grace
It's always so refreshing reading a well written story!! Enzi is kind of a jerkface, but I really love how well all the characters developed, and I'd absolutely love to read other stories with these characters in it!

I am really loving this so far. I’ve read five of this authors books on another platforms and her books are always suck rollercoaster. You never quite know who’s hood or who’s bad and what each characters motivations are. She keeps you guessing.

Stolen Prize Money

Stolen Prize Money

"An adult's personal property is protected by law. $50,000 exceeds the threshold for a major theft offense. The victim has chosen to press charges. That's entirely lawful." My father froze. Then he turned to glare at me as though I were his mortal enemy. His eyes were bloodshot. "Elise Whitmore! Are you really going to have your own father arrested? You ungrateful little monster! You'd throw your own father in jail over a little money? You'll be struck by lightning for this!" "Struck by lightning?" I couldn't help laughing. Tears streamed down my face as I reached into my bag and pulled out the confidentiality agreement I'd signed with the travel agency.
