The silhouette of a well-built man moved and walked towards me. Is that Andreas? I tried to look at him intently and realized that it wasn't Andreas, but a strange man I didn't recognize. "Evening, miss, Vanessa." The man's voice sounded deep in greeting, his face I didn't recognize. But he looked very friendly to me. "Who?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. I watched the man quietly. He extended his hand toward me. "I'm Steve, miss." I took his hand in silence. "I am the son of the Simpson family. Son of Abby Simpson, owner of Jfood Corp." He introduced himself in more detail.

Katherine’s voice was calm, but her fingers tightened around her parents’ hands as she gently led them toward the living room where Steve was standing. “Mom, Dad… I want you to meet Steve. He’s my husband.” She swallowed before continuing. “This is Nerine, his daughter. And this is Luke, his friend.” David and Leonor both looked at Steve at the same time. If they were judging purely by appearance, the difference between him and Richard was obvious. Steve stood tall and composed, even with a bandage wrapped around his arm. There was something solid about him—quiet confidence, the kind that didn’t need to prove itself.

“So this is your grand plan? Force me back into your world through my company? Trap me?” Steve moved closer again. This time Ken didn’t retreat. They stood inches apart, breathing the same air. “I tried forgetting you,” Steve admitted, his voice low. “I fucked other people. Buried myself at work. Became the perfect heir my mother always wanted. None of it worked. You’re in my blood, Ken. And I’m done pretending otherwise.” Ken’s heart hammered wildly. The man in front of him was both terrifyingly familiar and dangerously alien. The playful flirt from the yacht was gone. This Steve was calculated. Ruthless. She pointed her tiny finger at his thick arms and the way his muscles stretched out that grey tee. “Yes! He has muscles like him!” she giggled, her voice ringing across the balcony. “Uncle Hulk!
