I snarl, pressing the blunt edge to his chest as he grips my wrist, stopping me from impaling him. “Do it pumpkin … you’ll the only one I’ll ever let hurt me. This heart will only ever belong to you,” he grits out as we both catch our breaths. Tears prick my eyes as I stare at him in disbelief. “What are you doing?” I snap, panic filling me as he grips my hands tight as he lowers my hand to his chest. I see the blood spill out as my heart hammers. No, stop! I didn’t mean it! His breathing is strained as he digs the knife into his flesh. “I’m proving it to you, only you,” he grits out, his teeth clamped together. He then loosens his grip, tossing the knife across the room as bits of furniture
