My stomach uses the thought to growl in agreement. The top right drawer of my desk vibrates, the metal buzzing distracting me from my stomach trying to eat itself. Plus, I get cranky when I'm hungry. It's best I don't subject myself to pubescent teenagers right now. MARISSA: Now that you and Grant are dating can we do couple game nights?

I think I really need to rest. I didn't get enough sleep as my body wanted. In the process of taking some rest, my stomach grumbled. I guess it was as a result of hunger. My stomach kept growling continuously. few moments later, I heard a knock on the door. It got me startled. Could it be my roommate? I wondered. The knock was Unfamiliar and strange to me. It was unlike my roommate who knocked without saying a word.

He growled *Really?* I moved to the right end of the room beside the door and stood still. As soon as he started eating, my stomach began grumbling. It was then I realized that I was really hungry. I bowed my head trying to control my stomach from growling so loud. After standing there like forever he finally finished eating and I carried the plates back to the kitchen.

TRACEY'S P.O.V My stomach let out an embarrassing growl, loud enough to break the silence in the across the damn living room. The moment I heard the growl, I froze, blinking as fast as I could like that would scare the hunger away. But of course, it didn’t work. My stomach just did it again and infact, the sound came louder this time. There was no doubt I was hungry as hell. Of course, I had to…it had been hours since my last meal and I was certain to have burnt whatever energy I had from it on my the rush that happened earlier.

Then the growl comes back. It starts the same way it did before, low and distant, like it's coming from somewhere underneath everything else. Except this time it doesn't fade. It builds. It rolls through my chest slowly, steady and deep, and it doesn't feel like a sound exactly. It feels like a second heartbeat that belongs to something much larger than me pressing against the inside of my ribs like it is trying to remind me it exists. I press my hand flat against my sternum the same way I did the first night.

"I'm fucking calm!" "Yes, you are," I murmured sarcastically. My stomach rumbled softly, a familiar but unwelcome sensation. It had been doing that for some time, but I still couldn't bring myself to swallow any food. "I'm hungry, but nothing seems to be passing my throat. I don't know what to do," I admitted, my frustration evident.

*Growl* Unfortunately, my stomach was not something I could control easily. My stomach continued to declare its emptiness with an embarrassingly loud growl, and I began to feel the heat in my belly as it demanded to be fed. Finally, with shyness, I attacked the food in the box. I opened it, taking back the large sausage that I had initially decided not to eat. In silence, I savored every dish Jesse had given me. In this horse-drawn carriage, there were only the two of us as the sole existence. No matter how hard I tried to muffle the sounds, the noise of my mouth chewing still resounded in the air.

The hunger pangs that had been gnawing at my stomach suddenly intensified, as if my body had finally caught up with the reality of the situation. The growling was embarrassingly loud in the silence, echoing through like an opera solo of protest. My stomach seemed determined to announce my weakness to anyone within earshot, rumbling with all the dignity of a freight train. Of all the times for my digestive system to develop a sense of drama, it had to be now, when I was desperately trying to maintain some shred of composure in an impossible situation. Oh, great. My body was betraying me, too. “You must be hungry,” said a masculine voice from someone in the room.

Memories of last night flashed inside my mind making my cheeks burn and stomach twisted. growlllll.....!!!!(sound) is he here or......growl....! No was the room and that's when i realized this growl is coming from my empty tummy. i burst out laughing at my own stupidity of mistaking my stomach growling to a person's. hey! don't you dare judge me. i got up and opened the door which i assumed was washroom which turned out to be a closet. Now which girl doesn't live clothes and the fact that this closet is huge isn't helping with my urge to take a sneak peak.
