A few attendants stepped forward hesitantly, but when they caught the warning look the steward shot them, they stopped dead in their tracks. Eli snapped at Karina, his voice low, "Enough. You're making a scene." To my ears, the words only sounded like a joke. I lingered no longer, and climbed the smooth, cold-white marble stairs to the second floor at an unhurried pace. More than a dozen partitioned boxes ringed the second-floor hall, divided by screens yet still overlooking the entire floor below. The box dead center, with its carved and gilded doors, was the Thorne family's own seat of honor.

"Why do I feel like I am being interrogated so early in the morning?" I pursed my lips before murmuring. "Sorry." He sighed. "Okay, first and foremost, I'm not going to say any details about me because you're a stranger and at the same time, I'm also a stranger to you." He said, a matter-of-factly. "Didn't your parents told you to not speak to strangers?' He said the word 'stranger' three times in that sentence. I didn't say anything. We just resume our walking while I was willowing myself in embarrassment. It made me realized that I had just disobeyed one of my mother's lectures.

I can hear their conversation, they mention someone named Max who is said to be missing. When I got out of the car, I approached Esther but the gothic girl kept yelling at her, "I can't reach him with the mind-link! I can't call his phone, Esther! You know how impossible it would be if nothing really happened to him! What is happening to you?! And where is Nalani?!" She stared at Esther from head to toe. Her blue eyes still flashing with anger as they flickered at me. "S-She's..." Esther's new reaction I saw. I thought she had nothing to fear but now she is like a rat in front of this woman. "Ross took her to the Dark—"

The stranger whispered one more word— one that tore the ground out from under her: “Phase Two.”

I head downstairs to watch TV, the house is so quiet that you won't even know anyone is in here, but I think there are guards outside. I turn on the TV and started a series called 'Stranger things'. Its kinda interesting but disgusting at the same time......you know, those creatures and demo-whatever. I was really enjoying it but then, I got tired and fatigue and my eyes started to flutter shut, sleep was the only thing on my mind and I'm glad it came to me right when I want it to. ******** It's like I slept for a while because it doesn't look like morning anymore, it's just late afternoon, I look at the clock and it was 3pm. I sigh. Getting off from the couch.

Aleah said as she started walking away. "Hey! That’s a little—" Dennis started to follow, but he suddenly stopped when a man stepped in front of him. The stranger wore a hoodie pulled up over a cap, his face mostly hidden in the shadows. The slight tilt of his head made it impossible to see him clearly. "You—" Dennis began, ready to confront the man, but froze when their eyes briefly met. There was something unsettling about those eyes, something disturbingly familiar. It was only a split second, but it felt like those eyes were trying to warn him. Before Dennis could do anything, the man turned and walked off, heading in the direction Aleah had gone.
