It was quaint, with a newly repainted courthouse and bustling businesses lining the streets. Ana could hear the faint voices of the townsfolk, knowing they had to be careful not to draw attention. The four of them overlooked the town as the sun set, discussing their plan to move in under the cover of night when the humans were asleep.

I got out of the car as soon as it came to a stop. "Hey, Miss Runaway Bride," he quickly followed me. I entered the coffee shop without saying anything. There were only a few people inside, probably because it was late, almost midnight. It seemed like everyone was already in a deep slumber. Suddenly feeling famished, she devoured the rest of the food and set the tray by the little door it was pushed through.
