A new version of isolation, a prettier cage. I pushed myself upright, my breath stammering out of me, my chest tight. My ribs felt bruised and my hands shook violently. I staggered to my feet, clutching the wall. The room swayed in and out like I was trapped in a dream I couldn’t wake from. I was certain that I was about to have another round of hallucination. My knees buckled and I caught myself on the sofa just as the door clicked. The sound sliced through me. I turned, and then I froze.

The room glowed with light, but even the light was dim. The room was bare. A tiny mattress, a table, and a chair were the only things in the room. The window was high, almost on the ceiling. Even though I climbed the chair, I could not reach it. There were no escape routes. I needed to find an escape route because I could not carry out my plans if I were locked in here. I sat on the only chair in the room. I needed to think straight and come up with what to do, but I was stolen by sleep in a few hours.

I asked, unable to contain my frustration. She attempted to maintain her composure and said, "It's not worth mentioning. Besides, according to our rule, you shouldn't have entered my room." Her words hit me deeply, feeling hurt and powerless. How could she not see that I was genuinely concerned for her well-being? "I was worried about you. Nobody else is allowed to enter this part. You also have to come only when I say." One staff lady told the other lady. The other lady bowed obediently, and started to wipe the floor with a cleaner. Till the time the lady cleaned the floor, Troy heart was stuck in his mouth. After another five minutes did the two ladies leave and Troy finally gathered the courage to step out from the hiding. It resembled a dressing room with scattered training equipment, dimly lit shower stalls, and rows of lockers. Most of the lights were turned off as if no one was inside. I took a step back, maybe he wasn't here... The door clicked shut behind me which made me swiftly turn. The door had locked on its own as it was an automated locking system. A lump formed in my throat as I realized I was trapped.
