If The Crown Fits

If The Crown Fits

Ren asks, seemingly interested. “It was a very old place or a country that sank many years ago. I don’t even know if it is real. But people who do come back claim that they have been taken by the Atlanteans to save them from the people who hunt people with their genes. There are even stories that the Atlanteans below have a reincarnated demigod who can control both the sea and sea creatures.” I continued as I recalled all the information from the book/blog that I read called “Submerged Land” from somewhere. “And you know what’s the scary part?”

I love this book and I'm sad to see it end. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't write a few chapters between this one and the last one to cover so many questions I now have. I still recommend this book.

Overall, very good story line. I feel some of the characters have developed more than others throughout the storyline but I really enjoy the book. It’s a fun roller coaster. Would definitely read this book again. Can’t wait for the ending. 💛

HIDDEN SECRETS

HIDDEN SECRETS

I'm just praying God will keep us till then. ☆▪☆ "You are surrounded by The Special Weapon and Tactics, The BNI and the London Police Department. Do not try to make any wrong move. Just surrender" a loud voice is heard through a microphone, booming around the ware house where Veronica and I are kept hostage. She and I share a look between each other, a subtle nod saying all that we need to.# "What the hell is happening? I played a my cards right! So what is going on?" Adrian asks, assembling all his men.

THE SUBSTITUTE FOR THE SUBSTITUTE

THE SUBSTITUTE FOR THE SUBSTITUTE

A low, wet throb that made my vision swim with static. "It's spreading," I wheezed. I tried to sit up, but the world tilted. My stomach flipped. I tasted copper and bile. "Don't move." Evangeline’s voice was right at my ear. "Your heart rate spikes, the timer speeds up. Stay down." We were in a flooded basement. The water was ankle-deep, oily and smelling of old grease. Rain drummed against the street above, muffled by concrete. A high-pitched hum—the sound of Blackwood drones—vibrated through the walls. Every few seconds, a red light swept through the street-level grates, slicing the darkness of our hole.

His Undercover Submissive

The peace of it lulls me. “Yes.” “You finding a little place in your head to sink into?” How does he know? “It’s called subspace,” he offers. “All submissives go there when they’re getting what they want and need. It’s their happy place. Get cozy, baby. You’ll be spending a lot of time there.”

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

I could only hope that she would have settled in again by tonight, because otherwise I would be allowed to sleep on the couch one night again - and it was really uncomfortable. Sighing, I leaned back and opened the completely tattered book again, which I actually already knew by heart. But I wanted to repeat as much as possible today so that I could get off to a good start tomorrow. I ran my finger over the familiar table of contents. Foreword, evolution, instinct, social life, physiology, reproduction, ancestry, stem groups and subspecies. How many times had I made this movement with my finger? I couldn't count it anymore, but it was like a little ritual I had to go through before I could s

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Damn it, this wasn't an action movie. I growled at something very rude, fasted my M19 harder, and sprinted down the sidewalk on this side of the street. I never let our prey out of my sight for a moment. It was almost like a slalom. Again and again I had to avoid people and then I almost ran into a shelter. There was room for a handful of people in these small buildings. If you had to get to safety from a prole, you could run in there, seal the room and call the venators from inside via an emergency column.

Marked by a Lycan

Marked by a Lycan

I reached out and delicately retrieved it from the shelf, cradling it in my hands. A surge of anticipation coursed through my veins as I opened the book, its pages pristine and unmarred. The words within held the promise of hidden truths, a key to unlock the enigma that had consumed my thoughts. I read the title embossed in elegant lettering: "Tears of the Moon: Secrets Untold." My heart raced with excitement as I turned to the first page. The words danced before my eyes, weaving a narrative of forbidden knowledge and clandestine affairs. It spoke of a world beyond the ordinary, a realm where ancient forces converged and hidden battles waged under the pale light of the moon.

under his control

under his control

Victoria lay several feet away, half-buried, smoke rising from the damaged implants on her arm. She looked almost fragile. Almost. Then her eyes opened again. “Run,” Liam breathed. Ava didn’t argue. They sprinted toward the ridge, slipping on ice, barely able to see through the snowstorm that had begun to roar around them. Behind them, the submersible gave a final groan and collapsed into the sea, pulling half the ice shelf down with it. The shockwave threw them forward. Liam wrapped his arms around Ava, shielding her from the shards of ice that cut through the air. For a long moment, there was only the sound of the storm and the echo of their own breathing.

I wish it were you

I wish it were you

She took it down and started reading it, completely engrossed. That was actually a book of popular science, which talked about interesting stories of creatures in the deep sea. Annabelle has always loved the sea since she was little, and she also enjoys diving. She spends much more time diving than others. Later, when I arrived in the mountains, the most I could do was play in the stream pool, unable to touch the sea anymore. I would often dream of fantastical scenes, such as living underwater and coexisting with a group of small fish. So as soon as I opened this book, I got engrossed in reading it.

EMERGENCE: The Subnatural Chronicles

EMERGENCE: The Subnatural Chronicles

And if the prophecy is true, perhaps one day, she will be so much more. I close the book, my hands shaking so badly I nearly drop it. The world seems to tilt beneath me, reality shifting and rearranging itself around this new, impossible information. What I didn't know is that I was about to find out some incredibly important details my parents probably should have mentioned... I am a sub. And according to my mother's journal, I'm not just any sub. I'm something more.
