Mia’s POV The sky had long darkened, and the golden hues of dusk gave way to deep indigo. Inside the bookstore, the soft lamplight cast a cozy, flickering glow on the wood-paneled walls. It smelled like old paper, fresh espresso, and cinnamon muffins—the comforting signature scent of Chapters & Coffee. Marco.

Lena woke up the morning after a little earlier than usual. The sun was just rising itself above the horizon, casting long shadows on the empty street. The bookstore in early morning light seemed to be otherworldly — serene, serene, like a cathedral. She liked it best at this hour. No customers yet, no distractions. Just her, the scent of paper and ink, and the gentle thrum of old stories ready to be read aloud again. She pushed the front door open and stepped inside, savoring the creak of wood beneath her boots.

The man reads from his notepad, "Alright, the Chocolate Stout Waffle Sundae, the Salted Caramel Ice Cream Sundae With Cinnamon-Sugar Almonds, a Brownie Sundae, and chocolate fudge cake for the charming pair. Ezekiel awkwardly laughs, "We're not a relationship," and then pulls his arm away from me. He looks at me with a tiny smile and says, "I apologize, sir," before leaving. +++ Zoey exclaims, "Look at this store, it's so adorable. I raise an eye to the area she is pointing at. The Seaside Shop is the name of the shop. With faux palm trees and surfboards outside, it has a tropical theme. "Want have a look at it?" Asks Isaac.

Mountain's feature softened and he was about to say something to Joseph when the girl shouted, "Incoming!" Mountain was fast. Extremely fast for a large person. He came at Joseph like a blur and tackled him to the ground. A jumbled vision of foliage and trees and bushes, before he felt himself slammed against the ground. Joseph felt the wind knocked out of him as he heard the whistle followed by the loudest sound he's ever heard in all his 16 years under the Tau Ceti sun.

Cody I arrive at the location Snow sent me. La librairie Duquette (Duquette's Bookstore). From outside, I can see Snow and two other people at a table laughing together. Seeing her laugh makes me smile. She is genuinely happy and it’s good to see her like this. I enter the shop and immediately, the smell of coffee invades my nostrils. It is welcoming and relaxing. Every head in the room turns in my direction as I walk towards Snow's table.

Completely disgusted, Pia Drew walked briskly going inside but Andrew held her hand tightly that he could feel her bones in his palm. "Remember everything you did in the library?" Andrew showed his dimpled left cheek. "Are artists supposed to be trained how to handle situations like that?" Pia Drew hardly pulled off his hand from her wrist. "Sunny, why do you hate me so much?" There was a sudden silence while their eyes met. That was the very first time Pia Drew heard him call her Sunny. "Do you expect all people to like you?" "No. That's why I want to get you to like me."

Shaun said as he held my hand to the car. Another five minutes we parked in a small, brick shop with a faded red sign that read ‘Second Chance Bookstore.’ “Here we are,” Shaun said, getting out of the car and when I got out too, he held his hand out for the book. I gave it to him and we went inside.

I needed to swap the comic book I borrowed last month with another one anyway. I walked in through the front doors and a bell chimed. Jack, the store owner, was sleeping. I don’t blame him though. No one ever comes in here. Besides, I’d do anything to have the peace of mind he is no doubt experiencing. I grabbed a book from the shelf and got comfortable on one of seats. Perhaps too comfortable given the day I had. It wasn’t long before I dozed off. And with sleep came dreams of cockroaches, flying papers and green eyes. I jerked awake to see that the sky was dark. My phone vibrated in my back pocket. It was my mother.

“No one is sending any one to hell. We are meeting in fifteen. Reach as soon as possible.” I hung up the call. I wished that I knew what this was about but as far as I was about demons they were never going to let you know something until you really were needed to know about it. Finally we reached the bookstore. It was named beautifully. Books and Blues. Well for people who did not know the irony would not understand it but it was a good business and Hannabelle was an astute businesswoman. And I did not know but I was sure that something was up with the coffee of this house which would only mean that she had magicked the place in such a subtle manner that people flocked here for the coffee a

DIANE Shopping was nice. I bought my pencils, socks and gloves. I even got myself Chinese takeout for dinner and a couple new comics from the bookstore near the condo. The bookstore, Supernova Comics, is a lovely sight to behold. The interior is beautiful, serene, filled with tall shelves containing so many cool comics, and there's even a cozy mini reading spot at the far end of the store. Mrs Jones, the bookstore owner, was nice and very hospitable to me. My shopping experience there was amazing, and I even see myself probably visiting there whenever I need to treat myself to a comic getaway.
