Then Ding Hao noticed that the hand bones on the cyan-gray skeleton moved slightly. Then, something strange happened. The cyan-gray skeleton suddenly seemed to have melted. Every part of the skeleton began to glow with cyan light. The metal bones covered with rust wriggled like small milk cakes under the sun. Finally, they completely liquefied. The cyan liquid kept surging to the center.

She was wearing thick leather gloves, holding a small brass compass-like tool that measures spiritual energy. The way that Fio latched onto her from the beginning made me think that she was a bit out of the ordinary, but I hadn’t thought that she was supernatural in any way. She didn’t show any signs of magical abilities.
