Dawn Smith was the little sister she never had. “Great!” Dawn said, happily “ooh, Harry Potter!” she added as she flopped down onto the bed, her black and purple striped hair fanning out over the bedspread. She snatched the book from Lena’s hands “I prefer Goblet of Fire” she glanced up at the older woman “it had dragons”. “So does Philosopher’s Stone”, Lena pointed out. Dawn blew a raspberry at that. “Hardly. It has an itty bitty baby dragon named Norbert but that’s it”, she said “nothing like the badass Hungarian Horntail” Dawn rolled over onto her stomach “hey, you do think dragons are real? That would be so cool”.

As Dawn awakens from her lifeless state, she finds herself back in the familiar surroundings of her brother's home. Elliot's heart swells with joy and relief at the sight of his resurrected sister. Embracing her tightly, he is grateful to have her back by his side. Aware of the dangers that loom over Zelda, Dawn is determined to shield her from the malevolence that surrounds them. With a sense of purpose, she retrieves a bundle of sage, a sacred herb known for its cleansing properties. Igniting the sage, the fragrant smoke curls and dances in the air, filling the room with its purifying energy.

Chapter Sixty-Two: Dawn The Dawn was quiet. For the first time in weeks, the sky was clear, pale gold light touching the snow, washing the bloodstained ground in a fragile promise of warmth. Shadowstorm moved through the aftermath with quiet reverence, warriors carrying the bodies of the fallen to the pyre built beyond the treeline, where the snow had been cleared for the farewell. Raven stood before the fire, Shadow and nightfire calm beneath her skin, wrapping her in a quiet strength.

Alexander commanded, suppressing it with his innate sword aura, causing the weapon to quickly settle. In the face of overwhelming power, a mere sword could hardly stir trouble. With a slight flick of his arm, the sword sprang from its sheath, revealing the words inscribed at the base of the blade: 'Azure Dawn'. "A fine sword," he remarked. The blade was lightweight, its edge sharp yet restrained, and its flexibility was impressive, resisting even when Alexander applied his internal energy. As the prized weapon was claimed, envious eyes turned toward him, though none dared to seize it. Some items were simply beyond their reach.

Eloise I hated everything. I hated myself, my life, and the current bad mood my sister was in. I swerved just in time to avoid the hit of the wooden sword. I took a few steps back and twirled. But just as I was about to nick her with my sword, she crouched and knocked me hard on my knee. I fell to the ground with a painful yelp. “And just like that, you're dead.” Mae said and wiped the sweat off her forehead with her tunic sleeves.

I wrap my arms around her waist pulling her in for a chaste kiss before laying my forehead upon hers with a gentle hum. “Alpha Demetri Black is the head alpha of Crimson Dawn. Jamie called me a handful of times when Cole’s PTSD was triggered and Alpha Black needed a gentle way to bring him back. Jamie just found a package Alpha Black gave him that he didn’t expect to find addressed to me. A smartphone and a letter were found inside.” I break my hold on my mate and walk back to the table picking up the letter. I hand it to her and wait for her to finish reading. “All of us?”

The Northern Dark Mystic Ice Sword emitted a bright cyan light that enveloped a radius of a thousand feet as it charged at Xiao Chen. Xiao Chen swung his sword, and the Autumn Water Sword also erupted with a thousand-feet-long ray of light. Both swords met in a collision.
