LANA The drive to the church left me feeling unsettled; I couldn’t shake the thought that Bernardo was still in New York. When the convoy arrived, we pulled over, and I stepped out of the car, lowering my veil. My mom and the others entered the church through the side door, and a carpet was rolled out to the main entrance. Holding a flower, I walked toward the door as petals rained down on the carpet.

Matthew called and Jennabeth meowed as if that would be Matthew's last goodbyes to her. I walked out of the living room and locked the door behind me. Climbed down the stairs of our cottage and to the car which was parked at the front. I opened the front seat and placed him gently in the car, I fastened the seatbelt and kissed him on the lips, shut the door, and went to my seat. I drove off to the church in town, surprisingly there was not much church in the area and the one we could find was a white garment church. We decided to stop by the church and Matthew was out of the car before I could realize it, giving me a look that he was fine.

I jump into my car and drive as quickly as I could to the church. “Move!” I beep frantically at the car that cuts in front of me as I swerve in and out of traffic like a lunatic. After what felt like the longest drive ever, I pull up at the church and run through the people scattered around and the paparazzi gathered outside the church. “Look! There’s Shayla!” One of them shouts, snapping photos as I run through the crowd. “Shayla, are you here to stop the wedding?!”

' The doctor nodded as she took her leave. She met Nick in the car; as soon as she entered he drove off. 'What took you so long?' She shook her head as she lean against the window. 'Where are we going?' 'To Pearl's in-laws.' He told her and sped away. William smiled as the kids hurry off to the toy shop, he took his seat on the bench and Pearl sat by him, he relaxed back to watch the children, and then he smiled. 'How long has it been?' He asked himself smiling.

I was the one who followed her to nearly every church program judiciously. The building becomes visible from a distance and my fingernails dig into my knees. It will be fine. Will it? Mommy said goodbye that she would go first and then Daddy. I got in the car with a big ribbon and flowers on the front. The church is not far from Mommy's house so our trip took only five minutes and we also saw Barasoain Parish Church. Chaffeur opened me up.
