" She turned and walked out of the tent. She was about to cry and needed to get away from him. Without talking to her, he had taken away everything that the moon goddess had given her, in a moment of his own self pity. She ran in between the rows of tents and randomly ducked into one. She fell to her knees and started to cry. It had hit her now. She cried as quietly as she could but her body shook with each silent sob. She stayed there by her self and let it all out for several minutes. She started to feel sick to her stomach. She had clearly let herself get too worked up over this. It hit her all at once and she got to her feet and ran out of the tent and threw up in a nearby bush

Not a single thing could harm her. She stared up at the sky and studied the silver glow of the moon carefully. It smiled down at her with a love so intense that had her soul warming up like a fireplace on a cold winter's night. She was afraid of crying, but the look that the moon gave her didn't add any gust to the storm going on inside of her. Instead, a hot blue fire flickered in her heart and soon it started to grow, eating away and picking at all of the dark emotions in its path. With her worries burned away, and the tears that had started forming at the corners of her eyes, some of her pain melted down her cold face with a rush of relief.

Seraphina smiled at him. “Let’s go, father. Chen, Hana, I will be back later. Thank you.” Keiynan said while holding his father’s shoulder. “You’re always welcome, brother.” Chen bumped his fist on Keiynan’s fist. He is going to kill me when he sees this. I had a “little” breakdown, and now it looks like a bomb went off. Chairs are overturned, books scattered, and the curtains now resemble a tattered flag on a battlefield. I catch my reflection in a cracked mirror. My hair is a mess, and my eyes are wild with anger and confusion. This isn’t me. What has gotten into me? I turn and look out the huge window. The moon shines above, and I feel both peace and turmoil. The room is eerily quiet until I hear the door softly creak open. Frank enters cautiously.

“The North didn't just steal the land. They stole the blood. They are the parasites of the Moon.” The image began to distort. The black fog from the vision started to bleed out of the Obsidian Mirror, swirling around my wrists like oily snakes. The "Feedback" was starting. The Mirror began to vibrate, a high-pitched shriek of stone against stone. "Elara, pull back!" Malachi’s voice sounded miles away.
