I returned to the Living Book, hoping for closure. But with Lioren’s soul now gone, its pages remained empty to me, silent and still. I returned it back within the roots of the Syrakai Wilds, where it belonged.
To my quiet joy, all who were lost had returned to life, even the white bear. Her Heartstone had been restored, and when our eyes met again, there was no anger in them, only peace.
Other packs had begun rebuilding, stones rising from the ash, children laughing in places that once held screams. A rebirth of the land, but I could not stay.
