It took the Raven Prince and his men half an hour to destroy the lab, which his mother built in ten years. It's like a base for Irina, from where she does most of her evil deeds from. All the scientists are killed and the lab is burned down to the ground. The Raven guards took the kids back to their homes. When each kid is being handed over to their parents, the gratitude that was shining brightly in their eyes made everyone's heart swell with pride. They know they did the right thing. They are now more grateful to Raphael than ever. Their loyalty now solely belongs to the Raven Prince, whom they fondly call as 'Boss '.

The realization struck a chord, evoking an unexpected sense of melancholy. Ralph was not interested in me— he never had been. While one part of me wanted to feel relieved, an unexpected pang of sadness enveloped me. Abruptly, the room was filled with cracking sounds and the clinking of shattering glass. Startled, I flinched and opened my eyes and turned around, only to be met with the sight of two massive black wolves locked in a fierce stare-down, their snarls filling the room with an ominous tension.

On the bed in Tristan's room, Raven lay unmoving, her eyes tightly shut and sheens of sweat soaking her forehead and clothes. She seemed to be having a bad dream. Her senses were cloudy, and she couldn't make sense of what she was seeing exactly. It felt like she was being pulled from one place to the other, unfamiliar voices sounding in her head. They spoke indistinctly, and it was messing with her senses.

“In a way, I suppose me and Dante do oversee things, but we all do our part here, Raven. We all hunt and gather food, we all bring back fresh water, guard the camp, put together new homes, train together. We just all work together nicely in peace. “It all just looks and sounds so incredible, grams”. I told her with amazement. “It is Raven. This is my home, and I absolutely adore it”. She said with pride. “I’m so happy grams, to know you haven’t been alone all this time”. I said to her as I looped my arm through hers.

Raven whimpers trying to breathe with blood pooling at the edges of her mouth as I do my best to not panic at her condition. “Raven stay with me!” I nearly panic dropping her into the snow then shift feeling that I am losing her. She whimpers and trembles as I press my head against hers before licking her wounds healing her as she cries. Raven flinches and cries out in pain when I lick the giant jagged wound over her ribs that is making it difficult for her to breathe. “Breathe and relax,” I link while staring into her dark obsidian eyes trying to get her to focus on healing instead of her fear and pain.

It was her first time speaking that much in class, and now every pair of eyes was on her. The lecturer hesitated, then cleared his throat. “Alright. For your assignment, write extensively on the significance of the ravens.” He smiled faintly. “Meanwhile, you can visit the school museum. There’s a portrait of Queen Elara- the one Monk Alphonso drew. It’s said her beauty was beyond words.” He picked up his notes and paused just before leaving. “Legend says, in the eyes of the Queen, only can the Raven King be restored.” Liana’s head tilted. “In the eyes of the Queen…” she repeated under her breath.

The lady was surprised and confused when he suddenly cut her off. "Y-Yes? I think she placed it on her vanity area." He felt like he was being poured with a glass of cold water when his speculation was confirmed. Hyde remembered it when he went to the victim's vanity table. He remembered what it looked like. A bird darker than a crow, and usually eats flesh from dead animals. A bird that means DEATH... A CARRION CROW.

said the host. She was trying to add a little levity to the conversation, but was shocked when the Ravens nodded to each other in confirmation. Their lives had been marred by conflict and danger. Raven came down dressed to leave. She had changed out of her uniform. She wore simple jeans and a soft top. Her hair was brushed. Her bag hung from one shoulder. She looked… pretty.....too pretty for a study session. Ragnar growled at once. She dressed up for him. For study, I said flatly. You do not believe that. I ignored him. Raven slowed when she saw us both there. “Oh.” My father smiled warmly. “Raven. Are you going somewhere?” She shifted the strap of her bag. “Yes. I’m going to a friend’s house to study.”
