He reached out to a man and said impatiently, "Did you bring it?" He had been in a bad mood since he was no longer Beta. The strange man was unhappy to see Damon's attitude. He said with a straight face, "Alpha Alex told you that he had prepared everything for you. He asked you not to give yourself away and not to make any moves or you would be exposed. Just wait for his instructions." Damon's expression changed. He glanced at the folder for a while and suddenly snatched it. He said fiercely, "Tell Alpha Alex that I will do it neatly this time."

On the other side of the Palace, the Alpha King was seated on his throne, with his Luna Queen when the doors swung open and a maid rushed in, in tears and hysterics. His brows creased and where he wanted to ask why she didn’t seek audience before barging in, he noticed her frantic behavior. “What is the meaning of this?” he asked in annoyance. The maid shook her head, fell on her knees and continued to wail like a mother who had lost her child. “Speak up woman!” the Alpha King snapped. “Forgive me, I didn’t mean to get her hurt Alpha, I swear. I’m sorry for taking his money. I should not have listened to him.”

Gamma Eric replied to his King in a low and guilty tone. Alpha King couldn't help but chuckle. Of course, they covered their tracks. Alpha King also knew that whoever was behind that abduction and the destruction of his family, his happiness, had someone involved whom Alpha King trusted. Because there was no way anyone could be this perfect at their jobs without knowing the depths Alpha king could go through.

He must have realized his mistake because he took on a stern look as he gazes at me in surprise. “To answer your question Alexia, we would not be driving back to New York. We don’t want you looking weary and drained when we arrive at the castle, so we would be using the kings private jet. Now my love, could you get your pretty ass into the car and let us concentrate on packing this stuff.” He said teasingly, giving me that same creepy look as I walked away. He is such a weirdo. King Iram, on the other hand, enjoyed looking at Alpha Trace's scared posture. He even smirked and rested his back against the sofa. "Oh, why did you stop? Aren't you going to kill your own Luna?" Alpha Trace lowered his head and shut his eyes tightly. "I made a mistake, my King. I will not do it again," he reluctantly uttered.

They announced in unison, and I nodded. They gaped at me, a horrified look on their faces. Caleb's eyes narrowed. "And he didn't do anything to you?" Now his voice was sounding suspicious. My mind travelled back to the hot kiss I had shared with the Alpha, and I felt my neck grow hotter. I rubbed a hand over it to cover the blush slowly creeping in. Very little got past Caleb, and my kiss with the King was a secret I was willing to take with me to the grave. "He promised to punish me, but he let me walk away," I replied.

Becca broke out in tears "I don't know why I made such a mistake. I've worked in the palace for years with no problems. This is all my fault" Becca sobbed. The next words she said were incoherent. I sat beside her and stared into space. I thought of everything that had happened. Suddenly, I heard the sounds of footsteps. In a few seconds, I saw a familiar figure. Alpha Kylian stood behind the metal bars. He stood tall. His presence intimidated me. I stood up and walked to the bars. "Kylian" I said "What's going on?" "How dare you?
