The paint worn and peeling, but you could just make out the old real-estate ad that said "Atlantis is just a trip away. Move to the safer side of the world today!" It was left over from the previous world, just like the buildings, before the hybrid class had been established. Back then, they were called the one percent and spent billions on genetically modifying themselves. They created a whole world below the ocean when the magnetic pole reversal started and the climate change devastated the surface, including all electronics. The ruling class invited the human race down to work for them. More like slave for them.

The Alpha Who Stole My Life

The Alpha Who Stole My Life

Before being applied to the mountain, Greek Ἄτλας–Ἀτλαντ- (= Atlas–Atlant-) was the name of a member of the older family of gods, who was supposed to hold up the pillars of the universe, and later of one of the Titans, condemned to bear up the heavens, or, in other forms of the legend, the earth. The Latin adjective Atlanticus, from Greek Ἀτλαντικός (= Atlantikos), originally referred to Mount Atlas; it was hence applied to the sea near the western shore of Africa, and afterward extended to the whole ocean lying between Europe and Africa on the east and America on the west. What’s more a very common word that derives from the same verb as Atlas (τλάω) is the word αθλητής (=athletes> meaning

I’m liking this book very much. It’s very intriguing, in this story the Alpha has no choice but to steal his mate. She is human and doesn’t understand when he approaches her to explain the mate bond so he abducts her from her family and takes her to his territory across the ocean.

” Thalasso looked tired. The hologram flared, then lions could be seen swimming frantically through flooded streets, women and children scrambling into boats, towers collapsing into the rising sea. “The earth tore itself apart. Atlantis sank in chaos. Athens had wanted to claim Atlantis’s power, but Cassandra’s vengeance burned too bright.” His voice seemed fragile. ”The sea God itself seemed to become angry, and what was meant to be a victory… became our doom as an earthquake hit us, a reversed reaction from the reactor.”

Their attention shifts to him, eager to comprehend the ancient secrets that have surfaced from the depths of Atlantis. "With the extensive education and training I received during my upbringing," Tritan signs to his companions, "I have become well-versed in the ancient High Phoenician Merscript, much to my initial reluctance. Little did I know then that this knowledge would prove invaluable in our quest to find a cure and navigate the secrets of Atlantis." The group gathers closer, appreciating Tritan's dedication and expertise in deciphering the ancient script. They recognize the importance of his past education, which he once resented but now sees as a vital part of their journey.

"It also acts as a way to detect imposters and clones." Henry's expression darkened. "You said there was groups of them." Xavier nodded. "Dane and Theo are dealing with them." Henry sniffed the air a moment. "Where?" "Atlantia." I answered. Henry's eyes widened. "The lost city?" Thena touched his arm, leaning in to him. "That's Atlantis, dear." He gave her a small scowl I knew well from Dane, loving but he'd have prefer she told him more quietly.

Marcus gave a slow, mournful nod. Twenty-five years ago, the Atlas project existed purely as a theoretical, highly volatile experimental concept. The technology was primitive, unstable, and wildly dangerous—nothing like the polished, omnipotent network it would eventually become. The specialist doctors Lorenzo DeLuca had gathered couldn't save Ava with conventional medicine. The trauma from the safe house ambush had been too catastrophic. Selene Sinclair was fading fast, her unborn daughter was dying in her womb, and time had completely run out. Marcus swallowed hard, the memory visibly straining him. "We couldn't just patch her up physically. We needed a compatible neural template to anchor

“Pay close attention. I will be back when it is finished.” The door closed behind him just as his face appeared in the video on the television screen. He spent the next ten minutes explaining his vision and his goals where genetic research was concerned. He talked about the successes and failures of the Atlantean peoples and how he planned to continue their fine work and perfect it; having researched their mistakes and learning from them.

With a single, flowing movement, she unleashed a wave under pressure standing water that the remaining creatures like toys from the platform in the abyss sweeped. Thalassa came to stand with us. Her facial expression was a mixture of Facilitation and pure alertness. “They feel the record, Erbin,” she said and looked at my backpack. “You know, that you carry the answer in you. We need to start the process immediately. The Generators are already running hot – the entire energy of Atlantis is ready to enter Core to flow.” I looked at Kael. He was blood smashed, his helmet was sworn, but his eyes were

Her body would be too weak to handle the rejection, and as much as he didn't want that to happen. He knew he couldn't interfere with the Gods and their laws regarding their mating which was far difference from what they experience and normal supernatural creatures. “There is only one King of Atlantis and that is King Triton and the next heir to the throne, is his daughter whom I will serve. You are not nor will you ever be someone I will serve or bow down to. Now you will reframe from disrespecting my king, or you will die.” Warlus said as he used the water to create two swords. He swung them effortlessly before landing on the deck in a fighting position. “I promised that I will make you die

Some hours back, the whole team had disagreed with the plan but after minutes of talking it through, they all finally accepted it. 자주 묻는 질문

Man, 'The Atlantis Gene' really grabs you by throwing together hard science and ancient myths in a way that feels both wildly imaginative and oddly plausible. The core idea hinges on this fictional gene, the so-called Atlantis Gene, which is rooted in a very scientific-sounding exploration of human evolution and genetics. The characters are digging into autism research and virology, using modern tools and theories. But then, the story flips the script by suggesting this genetic trigger isn't just a random mutation—it's a legacy, a designed piece of code left behind by an ancient, hyper-advanced civilization. That's where the mythology crashes the party, because that civilization is, of course, Atlantis. It's not presented as magic; it's presented as lost science so advanced it seems like magic, which is a classic trope but one the book uses effectively.

What I find cool is how the author, A.G. Riddle, weaves them together through the plot mechanics. The protagonists aren't just chasing a legend; they're following a genetic trail of breadcrumbs that leads back to this mythological origin point. The science—the gene, the experiments, the pandemic—creates the immediate, urgent threat. The mythology—the sunken continent, the ancient war, the idea of a precursor race—provides the sprawling, epic backstory and the 'why' behind the 'what.' It makes the world feel bigger, like the contemporary crisis is just the latest chapter in a war that's been going on for millennia.

Ultimately, the connection feels seamless because the book treats the mythology as a historical mystery to be solved with science, not as a supernatural force. The Atlanteans aren't gods; they're presented as an earlier, more technologically sophisticated humanoid species. So, their 'mythology' is just their recorded history, lost to time. The science in the present day is the process of rediscovering that history through genetics and archaeology. It’s a fun, page-turning blend that makes you wonder about the gaps in our own historical and genetic record. I tore through it because I kept wanting to see how the next puzzle piece from the past would explain the chaos happening in the present.
