Scarlett “Can you seriously stop rubbing my butt? I’m trying to focus on my shower.” I chuckled, feigning anger. It’s been two weeks since Atlas announced in front of everyone that he was ending his engagement because he didn’t want to get married to anyone out of duty. Things had been pretty tense for a few days, especially after Atlas ordered that my things be moved to his wing. According to him, he didn’t want anything bad happening to me or anyone harming me or the baby since there were speculations that he was in love with me.

~2 months later~ The press has been relentless. Always trying to snap photos of me. Of Atlas. Of us together. The other three are named as, Miles, Rico, and Lorenzo. Rose sighed. For some odd reason, Rose is still ignoring Sylvia. She is not feeling the same anger that she felt that morning when Sylvia insulted Russell.

Just at that moment, the door of the training center opened, Camille, Lilian, Paula, Nader and Kenji walked in. "You guys are late", Atlene told them as they walked in. "Yeah, sorry about that, we were caught up", Nader apologized and Atlene nodded. Looking around, Atlene looked at the siblings and asked, "Where's Atlas?" "Atlas? He went out not too long ago. I think he's running an errand for Scarlett", Paula answered. On hearing that, Atlene's expression went dark and he clenched his fist. "Alright, Paula come spar with me", Atlene said.

But he didn’t know that by sending her out, she will come running to me. But of course, Sin isn’t stupid enough to send her out alone. My eyes move from the woman to the three young men running behind her. One, I recognize. And his name is Atlas. Dark skin, and curly short hair, cropped on his head. He used to be a part of the Vampire Kingdom, but he managed to escape to work for Sin. And that is mainly because Sin promised him freedom to feed on whomever he wanted. Sin knew how powerful Atlas was, even though the kid looked like a loser with his lean physique and playful personality. He needed Atlas by his side to make his Kingdom stronger, so he sacrificed humans for Atlas to feed on.

At least not before now. Celia swallowed. “My mother is hunting today. She’s left with others.” “We’re not here to see Sheeva,” a one–handed Atlas said. Of average height, Atlas had dark hair and slitted dark eyes, a cloth tied around the stump that was his hand. Celia was sure it wouldn’t be long before he could take off the cloth. However, he was now without a hand. “We would like to speak with you,” he said. Celia stared, surprised, and forgetting they were waiting for her to let them in. Jon growled, pushing through them and Celia to let himself in.

Too many things were going on that it slipped my mind. “Yes, yes.” He brushed a hand over his face. “We had a meeting with the rest of the sixth circle leaders. A vote is always taken when there is a new council leader. We’re not under them hut we work with them.” He explain in that calm way he does. He doesn’t go over the top and mansplain as though he thought you were dumb. But in a way that made you feel more like you were having a conversation. “Of course, Atlas’s credentials are wonderful and he has done great for his pack since his father passed. The world had ended two years ago, and somehow, Jesse still hadn’t died. He blamed Marcus for that.
