Chapter 46: The battle continues The two armies clashed in a frenzy of steel and magic. Emilia and Arachne faced off, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. The air was electric with tension as they began to circle each other, their hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. Luna, in her werewolf form, charged forward with a mighty roar. Her fur was a brilliant gold, and her eyes shone like stars as she tore into the dark forces. Her claws flashed in the fading light, striking true and finding their mark time and again as the battle continued.

Liam materialized beside her, a gasp escaping his lips. They were no longer in the desolate chamber. Instead, they stood in a vast cavern, its walls adorned with intricate murals that pulsed with an otherworldly luminescence. The murals depicted scenes unlike anything they had ever seen – celestial beings locked in an epic battle, landscapes of unimaginable beauty and desolation, and symbols that mirrored the inscription from the labyrinth.

Labrys marks—double axes—glimmered where water ran down grooves older than empires. Cables snaked along the ground, feeding rows of lamps that pushed the dark only so far. The air tasted of oil, hot metal, and men who worked too long. Stephanos slipped inside, keeping low, a mouse that knew the hawks by name.

Lilith's light faltered, confused by the maze's twists and turns. Undeterred, Lilith focused her energy, creating a beacon of light that pierced through the illusions, dispelling the maze. I was quick to get back on my feet and tilted my head a bit to make a more darker impact on her, it was all the game of minds and then I was about to make my first move but in that time Lily attacked me again with whatever witch power she can derive from the little part of stone she has but I was far stronger than her and I could take her down with one blink but now I was enjoying this little game of hers so I let her attack me and feel that she has some upper edge over me.
