Chapter 31: The Crimson Breaching The secondary gates of the Obsidian Spire did not simply yield; they ruptured under a combined assault of raw physical power and ancient, sovereign authority. The massive iron structures, reinforced with thick bands of tempered black steel and engraved with the defensive runes of the ancient pureblood houses, groaned as the heavy infantrymen of the Royal Lycan Legions brought forward their massive iron battering rams. The ground beneath the highway vibrated with each synchronized impact, a rhythmic, deep thud that echoed through the empty residential streets of the high nobility like the steady heartbeat of a gathering storm.

"And now, with hybrid blood freely given in battle, with twelve innocent souls prepared for harvest, the gate can open properly." The symbols ignite with hellfire. The children scream as energy begins draining from their cages. The rift above the altar tears wider, and I see things moving in the darkness beyond. Hundreds of shapes. Thousands. The demon army, waiting to pour through. "Stark!" I scream, pinned beneath Malphas's wing. "The gate! Close the gate!" Stark tries to rise, but his injuries are too severe. Kara supports him, but she's exhausted from fighting, bleeding from a dozen wounds. Marcus and what's left of his team are scattered across the chamber, broken and beaten.

She spat at him, it turned to silver mid-air. He caught it, pressed it to his lips. “Thank you.” Back in the sanctuary, Lerder raised his blade and struck down a second wave of abominations. More poured in—through cracks, through windows, from below but it wasn’t just physical. Something changed in the air. The ‘Red Moon Gate’ was opening. A shimmering, blood-colored glyph pulsed above the central courtyard. It wasn’t meant to be seen, it had always been there, buried in the sky.

His lifeless body dropped helplessly to the ground, a pool of blood quickly forming around him. At that moment, a very loud terrified squeal was heard from the door. I turned my head in the direction of the sound and frowned when the lady from the other night stood by the door, her face pale and wild with fear. I could see it in her eyes. Not only fear. Pain and a hint of sadness. I could not only see it, I could feel every single emotion she felt, digging right through my chest. My wolf began clawing it's way out, trying to take over. I could feel it's irritation as it fought for dominance. "Fúcking me! What is she doing here?!" I growled.

A massive circle of black symbols appeared beneath our feet. The forest disappeared. The snow vanished. The sky turned red. Alex shouted my name. But his voice sounded far away. I grabbed Zara. "What is happening?" The Dark Alpha's face turned pale. "No." I looked at him. "What?" He stared at the symbols. "She activated the Blood Gate." The Black Queen smiled. "What is the Blood Gate?" She looked directly at Zara and me. "The door to the place where the first Moonborn was born." My heart pounded.

The way Richard rapped his knuckles agains the door and then it opened on its own… That was a code and Mila just realized that now. “Is this also magic?” Mila asked Richard, she raised her head and then looked at the young guard, as he nodded his head. “Wow, I am amazed now…” This was almost like those doors in the facility that could be opened by the access card. How weird it was… Mila felt like the two event was a different lifetime, even thought it happened at the same realm. When Mila walked into this jail, she could smell the air was so putrid and the desperation hung very low in the air, as she tried to breath through her mouth, but then it left sour taste to her mouth after that.

"The security gate on the day of the college entrance exam." The screen displayed a detailed technical log, along with chat records. "[Jenna]: Increase the voltage on the security gate. Coordinate it with the conductive plate hidden in her shoes. Once she steps on it…" "[Kayla]: Could this kill her?" "[Jenna]: If she dies, she dies. We can say it was an equipment leakage accident. My dad can handle it. She was too stubborn. After all this time, she still did not drop out." The entire auditorium fell dead silent.

What does she mean? She wanted to ask but Nysel interrupted her. "Come inside" Nysel said. "We don't want to invite Reapers here". Then Nysel ushered them forward. Serra noticed the symbol on the gate. It was a pair of wings painted with white and gold. One wing at each side of the gate and the wings separate when the it opens. The Badbloods above the walls were looking at them with watchful eyes. They all look different at scary. Then the gates slowly opened and Serra saw a glimpse of the inside.

They’ve breached the outer walls, their armor and skin gleaming, their weapons soaked in the multi-colored blood of the evil creatures they’re cutting down. “We need to get inside while they’re occupied,” Rowen says as we run toward the gates. “Before reinforcements show up.” “Anyone see a way in?” Alexander asks, scanning the structure. The gates are obvious—two massive obsidian stone doors, smooth and polished to a mirror shine. They gleam in the combined glow of hellfire and angelic light. They walked for about five minutes before they finally reached the main gate, a black SUV was waiting out front and besides it was…Aldo?
