The Books I Read Novels & Stories

I counted ten stars scattered within the reach of my eyes until I got bored and decided to go back to reading the new book I just bought from the bookstore. “Gosh! I still have a lot to read,” I told myself as I looked around my bookshelf. I bought a lot of books and I felt sorry for them since I couldn’t read them all. Well, buying books is actually different from reading it. That’s my motto in life.

I can’t see the whole title, but it is about gods and deities. ”I didn’t know you were interested in those kind of books, I thought you only love history books because that’s what I always saw you were reading.” I said to her still looking at the book. Weird. I don’t like that kind of book, but I think I wanna read them because of my weird dreams. A figment scattered dreams of mine that felt like true. I saw green eyes of a man and woman whose blurry in my dream, then I heard about god of I don’t know.

Emma said, walking deep into the living room. "Thanks." She walked to a set of shelves on the far side of the room, running her fingers over the spines of his books. A lot of them were classics, novels by Dickens, Voltaire, Dumas, Melville, and Hemingway. She smiled when her fingers ran over the spine of not one, but three copies of Mitchell's Gone with the Wind. There were modern novels, too, including Stephen King and Sidney Sheldon, but they didn't look as well read as some of the others.

In fact, the pile of my words can be categorised as rambling. Well, I loved reading newspapers, inspirational books, classics and most importantly, novels. Love stories are a key to my heart and a fuel to my imagination. I was teased by the name 'reading maniac' because I could literally read anything. All I need is a piece of writing. Though this habit is considered ‘boring’ by my friends, but I like it so, I do it and I have no regrets or problem in being called a ‘boring person’.

I bought so many books that I had to build a mini-library in the shop, and that's when Henry began to read them as well. But there was one thing I noticed about the books he was reading. People, in my opinion, read novels that describe a tale that is similar yet wildly different from their own. People who want to fall in love read romance novels, while those who want to be adventurous read adventure tag books. So I had a feeling. By the time Momma passed I was married with a little one on the way, so my chance for college had passed, too. But I never stopped reading. Got me a nice little library out back, filled with all sorts of books crammed on bookshelves made by my own two hands. Books like Tom Sawyer, Edgar Allen Poe stories, Huck Finn and The King in Yellow, (that last one I don’t read much cause it always gives me strange dreams), some old mysteries, a clutch of Lovecraft’s books (they hurt my head, too, so I don’t read them much neither), my Hardy Boys books from growing up, and a whole bunch of newer ones by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. If it's a usual day without the need of reading these, I wouldn't even bother reading it. After all, it's no ise these days. The information in these ancient books are not usable om every day lives of people. After all, almost all books contains about the existenve of supernatural beings like fairy, Goddess and many more so who would be interested in it aside from those religious believer?
