Hopefully one or two things will catch your fancy in the matter of character adjustments and or hope for survival. I am a bookworm, a book lover I mean. I've always been one right from kindergarten. I read so much books I felt I would explode one day if I didn't stop. I didn't stop, and I also did not explode. Instead, they made me smarter. I read mystery books, thrillers and fantasies or general kid books. I read teen fiction too but I stayed away from horror. Mom bought me all of my books. I've got at least seventy books in my bookshelf and mom got them all for me. It was not a problem for her at all.

And well, it expanded from there. I refuse to give in to the game's allure tonight and instead walk to my bookshelf for a happy read. My favorite worn titles stare back at me. There's a little something for everyone, from The Alchemist to pure smut romance, but I'm not pulled in. Hollywood turns every series I like into a movie anyway. I can wait it out.

People just exaggerate about the existence of these creatures until now, which would be just ridiculous if I were to be asked. I scanned through more books. Though I'm not an avid reader, seeing all these books in front of me, I couldn't help but want to read them all. They all seemed to hold some kind of history that I just feel interested in. This is a first for me, though because I prefer reading about celebrities rather than reading about some fairy tales and history which are not proven to be true. I was so immersed, going through the books, that I did not notice when someone stood behind me.

He shrugged and I nodded. We started walking and looking around at the same time. As we walk, I saw a shop with books in it. I haven't read any book in quite a while, except from w*****d so I dragged him in. We shuffled around, searching for books. I'm not really a fan of huge books. I like the medium size more and most of the books I take, depends on the name. As long as it sounds interesting, I like it. The store has nothing interesting so we went out.

Back in LA, in times like this, where I had nothing to do and was seemingly distracted, I would lie in bed, reread one of the books on my shelf, and reread it the next day until I could almost memorize the entire thing. I'm an avid fan of reading. I loved J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, James Patterson's Maximum Ride Series and his other books like Suzanne's letter to Nicholas, Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, The Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, the House of Night series, Blue Bloods and many others I can't name now. I walked downstairs to my boutique with a mug of coffee in my hand and a book which I'm currently reading. It was still raining outside making a puddle of water in different places on the street. I sat down in front of my counter and took a sip of my coffee. "Um, heavenly." I said and put the mug on the counter in front of me as I opened my book and started to read. I was reading a criminal novel. I only read three genres and that is romantic, criminal and fantasy.

Ella POV. I fell asleep between them drinking my warm milk, I was never this warm or full in so long. I woke up still in their arms, I loved that daddy read me to sleep, I love stories, books, and he's the best story reader ever, he did the voices and everything.

“What’s your favourite book?” ‘Um… my favourite book… maybe the Kiss Me Softly series or In the Storm with You, but I also like Feeling Again and The Southern Brothers series. Between Us is my favourite sappiest romance, but not my favourite… Ugh, just pick one.’ “I can’t decide which book is my favourite. There are just so many that I love to choose from.” I sighed, defeated by my inability to decide on just one. My brain was so stressed that I was sure steam was coming out of my head with how hard I was thinking.

I turned it on, but there was nothing good. It was 11 o’clock. The truth was that I was a little bit tired, but I didn’t want to sleep without saying goodnight to him and thanking him for his hospitality. I remembered the library in the small room. It was full of books. I could find something to kill my time while waiting. There were different kinds of books. From history to fiction, and fairytales, but what caught my interest were a bunch of books right in the middle of the selves with black and golden binding.
