I’m usually reading at least 3 different books at the same time. I keep one in my car, one in my bedroom, and a couple others around the house. This way I don’t have to carry books everywhere, but I always have something readily available.

“I mean you as a homebody, not as my boss or anything like that.” It might be an exaggeration to say that Ingrid felt that day was very serene. She was a homebody herself when it came to it, always staying home when she didn’t have work, but it was a different feeling when she was with a man, and they were just relaxing. And his house... With a contented sigh, I closed the book shut before setting it up on my bedside table. There were two piles, one for the books I'd completed and the other for the ones I was yet to read. In total, I'd gotten a whopping amount of 12 books and in the space of two days I'd read and thoroughly digested six. I had no idea if it was good progress or not.

I can’t see the whole title, but it is about gods and deities. ”I didn’t know you were interested in those kind of books, I thought you only love history books because that’s what I always saw you were reading.” I said to her still looking at the book. Weird. I don’t like that kind of book, but I think I wanna read them because of my weird dreams. A figment scattered dreams of mine that felt like true. I saw green eyes of a man and woman whose blurry in my dream, then I heard about god of I don’t know.

Emma said, walking deep into the living room. "Thanks." She walked to a set of shelves on the far side of the room, running her fingers over the spines of his books. A lot of them were classics, novels by Dickens, Voltaire, Dumas, Melville, and Hemingway. She smiled when her fingers ran over the spine of not one, but three copies of Mitchell's Gone with the Wind. There were modern novels, too, including Stephen King and Sidney Sheldon, but they didn't look as well read as some of the others.

In fact, the pile of my words can be categorised as rambling. Well, I loved reading newspapers, inspirational books, classics and most importantly, novels. Love stories are a key to my heart and a fuel to my imagination. I was teased by the name 'reading maniac' because I could literally read anything. All I need is a piece of writing. Though this habit is considered ‘boring’ by my friends, but I like it so, I do it and I have no regrets or problem in being called a ‘boring person’.

I bought so many books that I had to build a mini-library in the shop, and that's when Henry began to read them as well. But there was one thing I noticed about the books he was reading. It was always those "abandoned by the woman he loves, so the male lead gets revenge by getting stronger," type. People, in my opinion, read novels that describe a tale that is similar yet wildly different from their own. People who want to fall in love read romance novels, while those who want to be adventurous read adventure tag books. So I had a feeling. "Say, Henry, have you been rejected by your crush or something?" As soon as I asked, Henry had the book in his hands.
