Edward went to the study table and took some books on the shelf. To his surprise, there was no story books and all the books were about science and knowledge. Edward furrowed his eyebrows. When they arrived at their destination, Odessa looked around her, only seeing trees and trees as far as her eyes could reach. She folded her arms around her torso and faced Alaric. “Okay, start talking.” “You found the book, didn't you?” She looked at him, confused. “Out of your mind? What book?” “The black book containing details of your wolf and an image of your wolf.” She thought carefully about what he was saying. Then she remembered the old book with wrinkling pages she had found at the library, but it was torn. And when she gave it to Simmy, he couldn't read it because the pages were empty.

Sniffing carefully to make sure he is not being followed, he pushes the door open. Behind the door is a large room with thousands of shelves lined in straight lines. Each shelf has over hundreds of books which are thick with dust and cobwebs. A strong scent of sewage and fungi is in the air but Eduard is not bothered by it. He holds the lamp higher and walks ahead. Mice scurry off as he approaches a shelf in the farthest corner. Scanning through the dusty shelves, he finally finds a thick leather bound book. He takes it out and dusts it well.

What could Edward possibly be hiding? My wolf stirred uneasily, sensing something important beyond that threshold. I stepped closer, reaching for the handle, my curiosity overriding my sense of propriety. Edward’s private matters were none of my business, but something about this hidden door pulled at me.

He suggests as he motions towards our surroundings. - "Is there anyone you can think of who could give us any insight about it?" I instigate. -"Yeah, but you wouldn't like to know who he is." -"He can't be worse than dead, can he?" -"If anyone were to know about two-spirit wolves inhabiting the same host, it would be Elder Theo.
