The Cold Billionaire Full Story นิยาย & เรื่องราว

"The countdown to thawing begins." The cold, mechanical voice of the electronic system echoed, causing everyone's hearts to tighten with anticipation. "I heard the person being thawed this time is the major shareholder of our cryogenic base. Many of our research facilities and cryo-casket storage units were funded by him." "That's right! I heard that before he was frozen, he was a billionaire. But because his lover was diagnosed with an incurable disease, he chose to freeze himself to stay with her."

Augusto calmly closed his laptop, showing no sign of urgency. “You’re overreacting.” “Overreacting? Augusto…” She stepped closer. “Do you have any idea what that amount of money means? How many people would give anything to have that money to pay for a hospital bill? For surgery?” “And yet,” he interrupted in a low, firm voice, “you’re going to wear the dress.” She stared at him, her eyes blazing. “Why?” He leaned back in his chair, intertwined his fingers, and rested his elbows on the desk.

"What gossip? I just hope he's not a prick." She rolled her eyes. "Come on, life's tough enough. Let me dream a little!" Leaning in, she grinned. "Rumor is, he's a billionaire, young, hot, and parachuted in from some big corporation." I raised an eyebrow. "A billionaire? At our tiny company?" "Yup!" Her eyes sparkled. "They say he's cold, sharp, like a romance novel CEO." I snorted. "You've been reading too many cheesy books."

I did want to decline his offer, but Miller spared me a glare, and I knew what that meant. We left for a high-class bar which was a few miles after the boutique. Seated and relaxing my muscles, I went through my phone to avoid us starting a conversation. "I heard you were coronated as the youngest billionaire of New York last year at the Billionaire's festive award." He let out, which for some reason caught my attention. I ran my hand in my hair before replying to his comment, "Since you are aware of that, I don't see why you chose to remind me."

His bodyguards stood like a wall around him, and he had just ended his phone call. “Excuse me,” I said to one of the guards. “I need to speak to your boss.” The guards stepped aside, and the man turned. I froze. It was Hunter Steele. The richest billionaire in the country. Ruthless. Untouchable. His name alone struck fear into people’s hearts. Stories of his cruelty were legendary. He was said to especially hate women because his mother had abandoned him for a wealthier man when he was a child. Also, there were rumours that he had strong connections with the Mafia but the rumours were never confirmed.

He turned slowly, his movements fluid and deliberate, like a predator assessing its prey. It was him. The stranger from the hotel room. The man who had been beside her, naked, undeniably gorgeous, a memory that still sent a flush of mortification through her. Only now, in the harsh light of reality, he was more than just a handsome face. He was Colden Frost. Her mind supplied the details instantly, pulled from fragmented news reports and overheard conversations. Colden Frost. Billionaire. CEO of Frost Enterprises, an empire so vast it felt mythical. Famously emotionless.

Clenching tightly unto my heart, at last the City's famous cold hearted billionaire couldn't take it anymore and cried ever so horribly. Damn, what a shitty story indeed!

Justin instructed and the police did their jobs in searching the whole area. They searched the whole area until they found the bodies of the three men, they were taken to the morgue and the two huge women to the cell. Samantha saw in the news as she walked to the subway under construction, the headlines of the news read: "The wife of STE Billionaire who was kidnapped has been rescued and is in ICU, will she survive this horrible pain?" She stopped in her tracks, she returned to her house and locked the doors. She didn't have enough money to flee Centre City, she just hopes no one spills her name.

"Unfortunately I do, I've had the displeasure for the past few weeks of wading through your filth. I have the children you sold away into captivity by the way. By the end of tomorrow the whole world is going to know what you are not to worry." He struggled against his restraints and swore a blue streak. Demented fuck. I stood back and let him tire his old ass out. Funny, up close he didn't look like either of his personas. Not the great senator, nor the axis of evil. Instead he looked like a sixty five year old degenerate down on his luck.
