I mumbled a quick sorry and was about to run off but he grabbed my wrist. “Wait son! You ok?” “I’m sorry I bumped into you but I really need some space right now.” “I get it but I really need some company right now. Would you mind just sitting with me?” I could see the pain behind his eyes and I sighed giving in. I took a seat beside him. “You are Jason Stag right? The young billionaire.” “Yeah.” Please tell me it’s not some gold digger. “You probably don’t remember me.” “Huh?”

She opened them and wore a pitiful look. “Thank you, everyone, for accepting this work proposal from the beginning. It’s your decision to work for me and now that you decline, I can do nothing…” She started and took a break. She squeezed her hand in each other, fixing her teary eyes on them. “Before I leave, I want to tell you the story of a lady,” she said. “There’s a young billionaire heiress lady, who has always lived her life in hidden because she believes wealth is dirty and she didn’t want to get involved in it. One day, she finds out a secret of how wealthy people ganged up and killed innocent peoples,” she narrated.

I asked and everyone, literally, everyone looked at me as if I had just landed from another planet. “You don’t know who Adrien Russell is?” Racheal asked and I shook my head. “You must be living in caves to not know him. He is the most handsome, single billionaire in the states. He will soon take over his father’s business of restaurants and hotels all over the world.” Megan explained and I stood there shocked. So the person who helped me and saved my life yesterday, was a freaking billionaire. No wonder the management of the lodge gave him so much importance. “But I highly doubt that now. Seeing that his and his family's reputation is at stake. I never knew he was such a player.” Hannah sho

He smiled wickedly, Nathan even felt that his friend became scary for a while, he exudes a cold and ruthless aura when he flashed that expression. Marcus didn't answer him but fished out his phone and dialed a number, not even twice second, the call was connected. "What can I do for you, young master?" Darwin greeted. Nathan cannot utter a word in shock, this voice.. It's Darwin Charles'! the richest man in Kingston, who recently was rumored to be a left hand only to the rolls royce master. Could it be? "Destroy Henessy Damer's Family, I want them bankrupt before the sun rises." The cold and authoritative voice were enough to sent shivers to Nathan's spine.

I raised my eyebrow at her, wondering what she was so happy about. "Check this out," she said as she took out her phone and played a video. "billionaire Xander King has made it big. his network surges from a whopping twenty-five billion dollars to seventy-five billion due to the investment he made recently with a trading company called forte trade. it's shocking to see how much money he made in such a small amount of time and knowing that he only has a five percent share in the company, I'm sure by tomorrow he'll be running from the press who wants to interview him. good move, Xander Laura Lee, reporting for CBS." My eyes became wide at the mention of figures that my network had gone up too.

“Yes, money oils everything.” “I suppose you have many charities that you support?” He smiles at me. “No.” “Why not? You’re a billionaire. Think how much good you can do in the world.” He walks towards me with my drink. “Stop being naïve, Star. How do you think one becomes a billionaire in the first place?” I scowl as I take my drink from him. “I’m a billionaire because I made millions of people all around the world poorer. Through immoral and illegal means, I acquired resources for a fraction of the price they should have been. What should have belonged to the people I took for myself.”

The headlines flashed dangerously before me: “Billionaire Big-shot busted in bathroom bonanza with another dude;” “Toilet tryst torches tycoon’s rep: caught pants-down with a guy;” “Filthy rich and filthy habits: billionaire’s bathroom boy-toy bust;” The morbid names kept coming, each worse than the order that held me bound to where I was as I watched him leave the bathroom. As soon as his presence left I felt some sort of motion in my bones. I moved slowly, pushing the door.

I looked at Dave and asked him. “Your dad is a billionaire?” I said surprised, that would explain the place we were at last night. He looked at me, his eyes full of sorrow. He closed his eyes and opened them, then nodded his head, “My dad was a billionaire”. I felt pity for him and his dad but there was no way I could help. “Now listen, young man, you cannot have Diana anymore, even if you both have the same alphabet starting your name. Poverty is real.” Dad cleared his throat as I looked at him with my mouth wide open.
