Novel & Cerita The Council Will Decide Your Fate

"That is not something that you can decide, Herravie" I press my lips together as I heard what Pollux said. I know what does it mean and he is right. I gaze down and fisted my hand. "The council will decide if they give Czar Ildefonso's life in your hands once again" Apollo paused and took a deep breath. "If they won't, then just agree with them"

Eventually we found a dozen books or so each. “Okay, I am done walking. I am going to start reading.” I said to Kelly. She looked out of breath after climbing the ladder and agree to start reading. ‘Understanding the Council’ was the first book I opened. I skimmed the words. Basic information like; there are 5 council members. Each voted on to get their spots. Cannot be removed unless death, 4 other council members agree, they step down or commit a heinous crime. Any violations to the laws are submitted threw a form and processed. There is a court date and then they judge the person based on any evidence provided. Similar to a human court process but our punishments are death, imprisonment o

“But I can finish it with truth.” She turned to Tomas. “Let them decide. The Council. Not with bullets. With votes. If I don’t have their support, I’ll walk. But if I do… Moretti leaves. Now. For good.” Lorenzo’s jaw twitched, but he said nothing. The Council moved to confer, and for a moment, the chamber was a hive of hushed tones and furrowed brows. Finally, Tomas stood. “We vote,” he said. One by one, the elders raised hands.

“A trial, then. One that will strip her to her core.” Verrun leaned forward, his eyes gleaming. “And if she survives?” “Then,” the Chancellor said softly, “we decide whether to embrace her or to end her before she becomes unstoppable.” The chamber fell into silence once more. Outside, the city slept uneasily, unaware that its fate was being gambled within these walls. And beneath the torches’ wavering glow, the council’s decision took root like a seed of treachery, waiting only for the right soil to bloom.

“We’re done tolerating weakness.” He gestured toward Tammy, who stepped forward and dropped her bags onto the floor with a loud thud. “I’ll get settled in,” she said cheerfully, glancing at me with a smirk. “Don’t worry, Ayla. I’ll take good care of everything.” I couldn’t breathe. This couldn’t be happening. Joseph turned and began walking toward the door, his voice ringing out one final time. “The council’s decision is final. Anyone who disagrees will answer to us.”

’ my barely available subconscious mind spoke and I too ignored it. “You can take time to make your decision, Okay. Now leave and come back tomorrow at the same time and we will go shopping for you since your dressing sense won’t match the type of girl, I told mom about.” He was so sure of my answer that I wanted to kick him again but I kept my head down and just walked out of his place and didn’t make any argument later on. I need to decide, and I think I seem to have made one bad decision of working which caused me all the troubles I am having. This isn’t destiny, this is all decisions. Fate is stupid.

I could feel his grip on my hand tighten. “Miss. Hazel Watson, do you take Mr. Alan Martin as your lawful husband, to have and hold to, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?” The priest asked me, I was all blank. All I could think about was Liam and Ruby. “Hazel?” my chain of thoughts broke from his soft voice and I looked at him. And I realized I have to say it now.

"So, what will happen to Petl? She doesn't seem to be guilty after all. She saved Anna from being murdered by that wicked young girl." Augustus shrugged. "It's left to the universal council to decide." "I thought Lucian can decide her judgment as the alpha? What has the universal council got to do with this?" "This is how it is done. When two packs are involved in any issue, it is the duty of the Universal council to pass judgment. Assuming the victims and perpetrators were members of this pack, Lucian would have taken it up. So, let's just pray that it all falls into her favor." Nora nodded. The microwave dinged and Nora stood up from her seat and went to the kitchen island to turn off the

“We are ahead of this incident. We have a plan to avoid a war and this group whomever they are don’t know that we have a plan to ruin their campaign. We either stand united or fall apart divided. This vote will decide which direction we will take and the future of this council. Please enter your vote now and we will step into the future for good or bad.” The council members used an app to answer voting questions and they would use it now. A private list only a few could see would list whom would be involved and whom would not be. This was a council and participation in anything like this was up to the faction itself. There weren’t supposed to be hatred or clicks but there were. If one gr

Jace felt a surge of pride as he looked at his friends, knowing that they had given everything they had to this cause. The mayor stood up, raising a hand to quiet the crowd. “Thank you for your passionate presentations. We take your concerns seriously, and we will take time to deliberate on this matter.” Jace and his friends stepped back, their hearts pounding. They had done everything they could, and now it was in the hands of the council. Over the next few days, they anxiously awaited the council’s decision. The town was abuzz with discussions about the proposed development, and Jace felt a mix of hope and anxiety.
